"Are you crazy, Nicholas?!" He bellowed and stood up while facing face to face with the man before him.
However, due to his height, which was almost equivalent to 6 footer, he had to move his head below to stare at the man before him. However, the latter didn't change his gaze and was looking forward and didn't meet his eyes while still having an unconcern expression.
"You should know your role here, Vincent," Nicholas replied while his eyes turned upward and met the furious glare Vincent made towards him. However, his expression was solemn while his eyes contained pride dwelling within his pupils.
Seeing that the man before him suddenly changed his attitude towards him, he couldn't help but feel astonished while at the same time infuriating. How could he remind him of his role here? If it isn't because of him, then this human settlement would have already turned ashes long ago!
"You should also know your role here, Nicholas! If it isn't because you still have some uses, I wouldn't even bother giving you the role as second of my command!" He roared while raising his right hand and was about to smack the man standing unconcerned about what would happen next.
However, seeing that Nicholas doesn't have the intention to argue with him anymore and was having an eye-to-eye contest with him. Before that eye turned lower as if he became meek. He lowered his right hand and got back to his throne, and sat.
"Leave!" He shouted while closing his eyes.
Then Nicholas walked towards the only door that serves as the entrance and exit. Standing before the door, he made a profound bow to Vincent before walking out of the small wooden hut.
…
The man who was guarding the door heard that another commotion was happening inside the small wooden hut. He didn't move or have the intention to check inside. Instead, he waited until Nicholas walked out and whispered something in his ear.
After Nicholas murmured something in his ear, the man nodded while waiting for Nicholas to walk upfront before following him after ensuring their distance and keeping that distance until they reached their destination.
…
Inside, after sensing that Nicholas and the man who was guarding the door left. He opened his eyes.
"Who does he think he is? If it isn't because he has the power to manage this small human settlement aside from Frederick. I wouldn't even bother reaching out to him," He snorted.
He added, "Furthermore, that man is the only person who threatened me for no reason. Whenever I look deep into his eyes, I see the cruelty hiding inside his heart. To think that he was more bothered about wasting things than the human who was bleeding on his head; confirmed his true nature."
His hand then reached out to the weapon lying on his left side. After grasping the handle, the man brought the hammer before him and swung it in every direction.
"This hammer I requested from him is superb. Furthermore, the materials used were from the tree, which was also used on the chair I sat, yet this hammer is more durable and couldn't even leave a scratch if I shoot this with a gun," He commented.
His eyes then landed on the wall where at the center, a rectangle hole was made, which was covered with withered leaves.
At the wall were rows after rows of guns: some were shotgun and pistol, and the majority of them was sub-machine gun while the minority was Rifle. But there was something that stood out the most - it was a long sniper rifle.
"Now that the world has changed. That weapon has no further use aside from the time being. This speculation I have further increased when I reached the middle stage," He said.
He added, "Furthermore, I have just reached the middle stage, yet those weapons are useless to me and couldn't even be compared to this hammer."
He caressed the hammer weapon with his left hand while gripping it tightly with his right hand. He even brought it before his face while kissing it like he was in love.
"Imagine when I reach Rank 3 or even Rank 4! Although reaching Rank 2 or 3 could still be unfavorable if I face an enemy with a gun. But I doubt that the Gun is still alive months later. So I should take advantage to learn combat weapons and stop relying on Guns anymore," He muttered under his breath.
He then stood up with his right hand and single-handedly gripped the handle of the Hammer. Furthermore, the Hammer had the same structure as a mallet, and the hand part length size almost a meter and a half, adding the length size of the head, then its overall size was over two meters.
In addition, the head size was almost comparable to the barrel, and if anyone saw the head's structure, they would suspect that the head part was originally a barrel before it became a hammer.
"This hammer sure is heavy! The weight is almost comparable to a Mini Caravan I once owned!" He exclaimed while he felt astonished by his strength to single-handedly hold the heavy hammer without feeling tired.
"Hmm… Let's test its destructive power, then?" He smirked while raising his right hand, and the hammer moved alongside the latter.
He kept that position for half a second. He held his breath while his face turned crimson with visible veins popping out on his forehead; his right arm, his right hand, his shoulder, and every muscle on his body.
He then brought the hammer to the ground fiercely with so much force!
*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM*
The ground full of hardened Earth cracked from the impact the Hammer brought from its power. Furthermore, the fissure continued to slither towards the wall made from the Earth's clay which was it was also broken into many pieces and spread its fragments in every direction.
The roof made with wood and leaves almost covered the whole appearance of the house, which was the reason it was called a small wooden hut. It collapsed to the ground, and Vincent wasn't exempted from the outcome. However, he stood there while his focus wasn't on the debris that fell unto him.
It was on the hammer, and the latter's face rested on the ground. The hammer's appearance didn't even change, as if the drawback of the power it used to the hardened ground didn't seem to be affected.
"How come? I foolishly used all my power and used it to the ground. The ground couldn't completely absorb the force, and the hammer should have received some drawback, and yet it didn't even leave a scratch?" He stood there for a minute, dumbfounded.
