Chereads / The God's Record / Chapter 2 - Abomination (1)

Chapter 2 - Abomination (1)

In the darkness of night enveloping the space, stars after stars lightened the latter.

A man floated above the earth while he waited for something.

Boundless glimmering lights surrounded him, which could cause anyone to mistake him for one of the stars. He was covered by the white color – even his long hair that slanted onto his waist and his garments that were covered by the robe was all white.

Coupled with his pale white face and the kindness shown between his eyebrows, this was the authenticity that illustrates the image of God.

Not long after.

"ALERT! ALERT!!

All the Guardians that guard a world or a whole lower realm listen.

The 12 Gods that rule the God's realm have discussed and made a decree that the worlds on the lower realm!

To break the seal that restricted its inhabitants from breaking their mortal shackles!"

The announcement repeated constantly, and the sound floated amidst the never-ending space.

After the announcement stopped, the man opened his eyes and muttered, "Sigh….. What happens in God's realm...? Why did I receive this order? Doesn't this order equivalent to the destruction of the world in the lower realm?"

A melancholic expression showed on his face. He then looked back toward the earth, and he couldn't help but feel pity at what future awaits these people.

"Hah, I'm only a servant of one of the True God… What can I do?? I was sent here to guard the lower realm, but in truth, they are surely afraid that someone will be born in the lower realm and surpass them."

"So why did they decide to let the worlds in the lower realm cultivate? This is surely good for the earth but also a double-edged sword.

The population will surely decrease because a literal rule where a strong will survive and weak will die will be applicable to the situation."

"Even in the Immortal realm were in chaos not long ago…. There was even someone who fled this world. Thankfully they were already crippled and didn't have cultivation anymore, so I allow them to enter."

He sighed, as he was truly helpless to the sudden decision. A moment after, a spark flashed to his eyes; before he muttered as he concluded, "I decided."

He slowly floated towards the earth, and his garments fluttered to the south as if an immortal descending towards the mortal realm.

A second after, he came to a halt; before his hands slowly leaned forward. Not long before a huge enormous rusty chain suddenly manifested, and it was binding the earth tightly, where some inconceivable wisp of light couldn't enter inside.

His spread hands then closed, and the colossal rusty chain, which tightly grasped the earth, broke as if it was fragile.

He then continued going to the earth, as if the unimaginable thing that occurred didn't matter to him; that even the current science would be having a hard time explaining it, which could perhaps leave a deep mark in the history of mankind.

....

Clover, Eleanor, and all living beings on earth were terrified by a sudden event that happened. The man's voice was so destructive to the ear, which caused most people to feel dizzy, and even animals were no exception.

'Sigh. Just a slight use of my power, and the mortals can't handle it. Thankfully no one dies.' The God heaved a sigh of relief.

He then frowned and suddenly had a terrifying thought.

'It's impossible for a God like me to suddenly lost control of my powers… Unless.....'

'Unless something happened to my Body' He then closes his eyes and checks for an anomaly in his body.

'Sigh, I didn't expect that wicked true God to be so vicious, the slave seal he planted on me is now taking control of my body. If this worm succeeded in taking control of my body, it means my soul will eradicate into nothingness.'

'I was supposed to create an inheritance and find a competent inheritor even though it was impossible to find him unless I waited for millions of years, but time wasn't a problem as long as he could take revenge on me.

But it seems that will be impossible to happen given the limited time I have, and I should change the plan then. I will invite all righteous clans, sects, and families from the higher realm to create their branch here on earth and nurture some talent.'

He glanced at the inhabitants on this planet that were still covering their ears – comforting them from the excruciating pain, which was caused by a booming voice that came out of his mouth.

With a wave of his hands, all humans vanished.

.....

In a newly created white cube, the fourth dimension was created immediately by God when the moment the earth broke its shackles and evolved. On the inside of the white cube - which could be mistaken as a new planet form in the solar system - Myriads of humans occupied inside without feeling crowded, as the exterior of the white cube didn't determine the boundless space inside.

"Huh, where are we?"

"Mom, wheerree aree youu?" a three-year-old girl cried and most of the kids accompanied her.

Myriad people were shouting and panicking while showing terrified expressions as they tried to find their loved ones to ease the terror in their hearts. They don't know what happened to them and their loved ones.

They were confused, panicking, and mostly terrified. It triggered the butterfly effect, causing the crowd to run amok!

"Eleanor! Eleanor! Eleanor!" a young man bellowed while shouting a name while running in a different direction. He was panicking as he was running.

"Big Brother!! I'm here!!!!" A young girl then responds to his shouting while crying in an unknown direction, making the young man stops and run at her.

"It's okay... it's okay Eleanor. Big brother is here." Consoling while hugging her, concealing the grave expression on his face.

Suddenly the myriad of people that were panicking stopped. They couldn't move their body, as if they couldn't control them. That's when they regain their rationality and calm down.

"Calm down, Humans!!"

A man suddenly materializes and hovers above them. His face is looking down on countless people as his face turns disheartened. Even though he shouts at them, his voice contains benevolence inside.

People who were terrified by him were not anymore. They felt his kindness and benevolence like a God.

"Today, the Ruler above has made a decree.

It saddens me to know what will happen to the inhabitants of the beloved mother earth.

Animals can't call animals anymore, and they will be called beasts.

Humans will rise through powers while some will fall, also through power.

I was only a guardian in this world, not the Ruler.

I can't reject, deny, or ignore the decree as they were absolute.

Now, what I can only do for you all is to assist you in surviving this calamity.

So all you will do is wait or adapt as soon as possible.

Earth will evolve and be divided into five sections and with each section the size of the largest continent.

North, South, East, West, and Central continent.

All of you will be transported on the four continents, but the central continent is excluded.

I'm filled with remorse that I can't teleport you with your family or loved ones.

I only hope for you all... is to survive."

His voice that was uncomfortable to hear before was now turning alluring and pleasant to hear. They felt the emotion of God when he spoke to them, and they felt blessed to know that God still loved them.

When God saw that the masses of people were still staring at him and were still lost in thoughts, he continued.

"Humans, you can ask your questions now." He then glanced in a particular direction.

In that particular direction, a planet seems to undergo evolution. A planet was expanding in rapid growth, accompanied by a bright glow.

"Hmm, you only have 3 hours to ask questions, and after that, I will teleport you back to earth."

The people engrossed by God's aura were broken by his questions, causing them to whisper to each other and contemplate how they should ask.

"By what you said earlier, what do you mean 'Powers'?" An arrogant voice drifted among countless people making others silent. They didn't expect a fool to be so arrogant to ask without respect.

"You should have read some novels, comics, and anime that talks about Powers like superhuman that has explosive powers and can fly themselves, or controlling element like creating a fireball using chants. They are mostly the same as what I'm talking about. But here, many will perish while many ascend. Don't think that by having powers, you will be like the hero you wanted or the villain you wanted. You are a protagonist in your own life. Either you fall or rise."

He ignores the arrogant bearing of that idiot. He doesn't have much time to entertain him.

People have a different kind of expression when they hear his phrase. Some were terrified by hearing that many wills 'perish' while some were excited and enthusiastic by hearing the word 'ascend'.

While people were clamoring about what he meant.

A timid and skinny young teenage boy, wearing eyeglasses and round burly hair, suddenly raised his right hand while his body was shivering, he didn't like people glaring at him, but he didn't have a choice. Curiosity kills a cat.

"I feel like you were exaggerating when you said many will perish. I know that by what you said – animals were now called beasts. So clearly, they evolve with the earth making them compete with humans at the top of the food chain. But aside from them, who else can make us danger?"

He still didn't stop and continued blabbering.

"Considering that we have intelligence and beasts are called beasts because they rely on their instincts, makes them unintelligent but dangerous. But with technology, a product of our intelligence. We can create nukes, missiles, and guns so we can fight them and ensures our survival..."

Immersed in his own opinion and neglecting the outside, he didn't notice that the people surrounding him were planning of knocking him out – even God was not an exemption.

Annoyed by this so-called genius perspective about what he said and even disagreeing with him and calling it exaggerated, he interrupts him.

"Enough, I will explain it now. So you all must listen and stop asking some annoying questions later on." With that, the people attentively listened to what he would say...

"The reason is the existence called Abomination."
