"Keeping 1st condition aside for now, the 2nd condition which is to contribute GCP let me elaborate it more.
GCP are earned through completing missions, every time you complete a mission, you will be awarded contribution points according to its difficulty, you will have to submit a summarized report and a video footage of mission completion if possible and we will allot you GCP accordingly."
The GCP allocation system seemed rational to me because difficulty of mission varied and depended on various factors and according to the report and video footage presented by members, GCP will be allocated.
Let say for an example, on my first mission, I had thought what most I have to fight would be babel's father or low ranking demon but when I reached babel's kingdom, I almost lost my life fighting demon jabel.
Fortunately system had the conscious to revise my rewards due to increased difficulty of that mission and thus genesis has a similar system in place.
There wasn't a chance of exaggeration in the mission report because it would be accompanied by the video footage which cannot be forged, at least by normal peoples.
This scheme would also push members of genesis toward selecting tough missions because that way their chances of earning more GCP would increase.
"I thought genesis was only an intelligence organization?" Merlin asked.
"We are an information center for outsiders, but if you become our member, with time you will come to know the stage on which we operate is much grand than you can imagine." Silent reaper said exaggerating.
"Can you give me an average number, how many GCP a person can earn from different ranked missions?" Merlin asked and tapping his fingers few time on crystal silent reaper showed another statistics.

"Are you joking with me, at this rate it would take me years to accumulate enough contribution points and I have to sacrifice them to buy a single pass of beast continent." Merlin shouted at silent reaper.
"It would surely be difficult for other members but not for an rune master such as you, we upper echelon will raise separate request according to our need and you have to finish those tasks for us for which we will award you many benefits and among them contribution points will be included.
If you prefer i would personally request other upper echelon members to give you contribution points in exchange of your service, we have infinite jobs for you; it is up to you how much GCP you can gain." Silent reaper said eying merlin viciously but a smirk appeared on merlin's lips because silent reaper didn't know the extent of merlin's capabilities.
"Very well" Merlin accepted his proposal without hesitation which made silent reaper flinch a little.
"Now coming back to third condition, please place your hand on truth orb and state your reason for visiting the beast continent."
"I had come out of pengia ruins because I need something, which is located in beast continent, will that be enough?" Merlin said white lie and the truth orb didn't light up once again.
"If it is not out of line for me to ask, can you tell me what are you searching in beast continent?" Silent reaper asked his curiosity at its peak.
"I cannot tell you the exact details but the thing I am looking for might help me gain further understanding of runes, maybe I can become a pseudo rune grandmaster that is how important it is for me to visit beast continent." I said to which silent reaper's eyes widened in shock.
Now that he knows how important it is for me to go to beast continent, he should give me some levy and if he dares to refuse me, there will be a slim chance of me not joining their organization and work on my own.
"I will also go back to pengia ruins once I have finished my business in beast continent, thus I expect your organization to not hold me back, if you agree to this condition, I am somewhat convinced to work with you." Merlin said.
"May I propose something?" Silent reaper asked.
"Yes." Merlin replied.
"If it is an object that you want, you can request it from us and if offered enough compensation, we can even move the upper echelon to do your task, is there really a need for you to personally go to beast continent?" Silent reaper asked.
"Yes, it is a task which can only be accomplished by me, it requires my presence alone and that is why I will split up with your forces after reaching beast continent, I don't even know how much time it will take to complete this task."
"You don't have to worry about that, we sent our fleet once every year to beast continent, and it takes 2 months to reach beast continent, if you contact us we will arrange the return journey for you."
'They are deeply rooted in the beast continent.' Merlin thought.
"I will discuss your reason with other upper echelon members and let you know about our decision soon." Silent reaper said.
"Yes, just remember one thing, I don't have any interest in gold, beast cores or anything else, I just want to reach beast continent as soon as possible and if genesis can't help me with that, we will not have any kind of co-operation in the future." Merlin stated his condition and saying this he retrieved his hands from truth orb which startled silent reaper because merlin's threat was true.
"That leaves me to satisfy the first 2 condition, becoming a gold rank member and accumulate GCP and then I won't have any problem correct?"
"Yes" Silent reaper replied pondering about something.
"You said I will become a silver ranked member if I join your organization now, what do I have to do to become a gold rank member?" Merlin asked silent reaper.
"It is mandatory for a member of genesis to complete at least 3 missions corresponding to his rank annually, in your case that would be 3 silver ranked mission and if you want to advance to gold rank, you have to complete 3 gold rank mission's and 1 special mission assigned by us upper echelon within a span of year." silent reaper said.
"Is that it?" silent reaper nodded at my words.
"Yes" Silent reaper replied.
"That I would like you to make my genesis Id as well." Merlin said and a smile appeared on silent reapers face.
"What if I want to leave the organization, will that be up to me or I have to fulfill some conditions for it too." I asked.
"There are no restrictions, unless you owe us debt, you can freely leave organization whenever you want." Silent reaper said the obvious thing.
"What kind of debts are we talking about?" Merlin asked.
"Oh, we provide our trusted members with lending facility; it can be gold, cores, mana crystal or weapon." Silent reaper said.
"And there is one more category of debtor, debtors who owes us their lives." Silent reaper said as his eyes glowed redder.
"They are those people who have betrayed us and I am not bragging you we have never failed to collect debt which requires someone's life." Silent reaper finished saying and his eyes became dim again but for some reason the hairs on my hand had stood up and I felt Goosebumps all over my body.
"Is there anything else I should know?" Merlin asked.
"No, I should end my briefing here but if you need some additional information, you can acquire it through your genesis Id, which you will be receiving shortly." Silent reaper said.
"Is there any other Rune master in your organization?" Merlin asked because even if rune masters are scarce, an organization with this strong foundation must have contact with one or two rune masters.
"Oh I forgot, you were secluded for such a long time so you may not know it, but you are the only independent and alive rune master we know right now." Silent reaper said in a sad tone.
"Whaaat"
"Sadly yes, 35 years ago when Duke Elise advanced to the rank of pseudo rune grandmaster at that time she started some crazy project and abducted all rune masters on planet amora.
5 out of 8 rune masters died because they refused to serve her, while remaining 3 are still working for her.
Since then even if a new rune master has born, they don't disclose their identity.
We used to have rune master a decade ago, but he was killed by Duke Elise's forces for refusing to work for her." Silent reaper explained.
"But why would she do that…." Merlin spoke shuttering.
The individual's blessed by mana were already scarce, it was unprecedented in the eyes of expert like merlin.
"I can understand how you feel, this incidence shocked the whole world, but even we don't know what crazy project she is working on, we don't even know whether those remaining rune masters are still alive or dead because we haven't seen them after that incident." Silent reaper said.
'He is lying about not knowing which project duke Elise is working.' I said to merlin.
'It doesn't concern us anyway.' Merlin said.
"I understand, the outside situation is more severe than I thought, it would be better if I return to pengia ruins as soon as I complete my task on beast continent." Merlin spoke in audible tone.
"I think so too but I assure you as long as you are a part of Genesis, we won't let her touch a single hair on your body." Silent reaper declared triumphaly.
"Do you have that kind of power at your disposal?" Merlin asked in a doubtful tone.
"Huu… I can assure we have enough power to fight against a demon duke if need arises but we don't involve ourselves in conflict with them because of demon king Lucifer." He spoke trailing off at the end of his sentence.
"I have one request and like you to fulfill it?" Silent reaper asked suddenly.
"Let me hear it first, then I will decide." Merlin said.
"In order to give you the forging assignment we have to first know what you are capable of, could you demonstrate me your ability once, it will help us decide how to proceeds further with your missions." Silent reaper asked.
"I will do so but my service won't be free." Merlin said.
"We will certainly compensate you, please follow me." Saying this silent reaper stood up in his seat and a black portal appeared behind him.
We both stepped in the black portal vanishing from the room.
