"Intruder, you are not qualified to enter this sacred chamber, leave immediately." Grey fog leaked from behind the beast core and formed a snake like phantom, while two red gemstones appeared out of nowhere and formed its eyes staring me furiously.
"I may not be one of your direct descendent but please let me pay my respect to you, ohh great snake emperor." I said smirking and released my soul force suppressing the phantom and poison inside the red dome and advanced toward the core.
"You dare." The phantom roared and started drawing more and more power from the beast core liberating itself from my soul force restrain and firing its poison breath at me.

I transformed ether into a long sword and performed a [Soul slash] from where I was standing and an imaginary sharp energy wave left my sword clearly slicing the poison breath and grey phantom into two pieces destroying the remnant soul itself.
I moved toward the beast core once again but the core which was placed on the stone column lifted itself into the air and started oozing tremendous amount of mana in his surrounding.
Hundreds of runes appeared on the floor and the red dome surrounding us disappeared, an earthquake shook the whole chamber threatening to collapse at any time but that didn't happen.
The rocks beneath my feet came to life and formed a protective shield around the core while the remaining rocks formed the shape of 20 meter tall stone golem, the core settled itself in the location of golem's heart and one again two red gemstone formed eyes of the golem releasing a creepy and a familiar energy.
'Those red gemstones are exuding the same energy with which those red lines were made of.' Merlin said.
My leisure expression turned serious because the aura which was oozing from the eyes of golem felt more threatening than the aura of demon jabel.

Without wasting a second, I transformed into my strongest form and attacked the golem's body avoiding the red laser beam he has fired at me.

I passed through both his legs breaking them to pieces but soon it started to regenerate attracting the nearby rocks.
'Don't let that red beam touch you.' Hearing merlin's urgent voice I reflexively turned to see the effect of red beam which I had avoided and saw the petrified body of babel.

In span of half a second, my body covered with golden lightning bolts passed through the body of giant golem 64 times as the giant golem fell on the floor piece by piece and its core touched the floor.
'Get a hold of his core.' Merlin said to me and I held the beast core in my hand before it regenerates.
The sensation of core was similar to holding a lava ball in my bare hands but soon a black gas leaked from my palms devouring the core and sealing its movement.
'What is this?' I asked merlin.
'A seal, which forcefully suppresses the beast's consciousness inside the beast core.' Merlin said.
The beast core above rank 12 had an ability to manifest their phantom outside the beast core and suppressing them was not an easy task but the threat I felt was not from beast core but the two red gemstones, which lay on the ground in front of me.
Merlin covered my hands with strange black fog once again and I picked the gemstone but it didn't emit the strange energy I was expecting.
'What should we do about him?' I said pointing in the direction of babel, who was frozen stiff.
'The gemstones are still discharging that red energy although very faint; touch his body with gemstone that should do the trick.' Merlin said.
I touched the body of babel with gemstone and soon cracks started to form on his skin and he was free within a minute.
"What happened to me, did I die?" Babel asked in frightened tone which meant he had no recollection of what happened after he was petrified.
"No, we both are alive, you were petrified by your ancestor and I freed you after killing him." I said and transferred the red gemstone into my inventory.
'Give me some time to analyze them; I think I have seen a similar thing before.' Merlin said and I nodded in response.
"Thank you my lord for saving my life once again." Babel said.
"Don't mention it." I said inspecting the grand chamber which started to decay from the moment I sealed the core.
"Once we get out of here, gather every beast and leave this dimension pocket as soon as possible." I said storing the beast core in my inventory.
I flapped my wings wide and the poison fog cleared spreading throughout the chambers, understanding my intention, babel wrapped his tail around my leg and with a gust of my wings I flew in the air, releasing the [Divine verdict] spell from my palm a thick lightning laser beam shot upward breaking through the ceiling until I saw the clear sky above.
Escaping successfully from the underground chamber, we landed on the surface and I undid my [Hybrid draconic transformation].
"Babel, now that you have fulfilled your promise I will be leaving this dimension pocket, I advise you to leave the dimension pocket as soon as possible and hide far away from the demon settlement because the demons I have killed were the high ranking demon and their death will surely attract more demons here for investigation."
"Yes, my lord." Babel said.
"Keep this, it is a communication crystal, unless I have left this planet you will be able to contact me through this crystal." I said handing babel a transparent diamond like crystal.
"I will continue collecting high ranking beast cores for you my lord." Babel said and I didn't refuse his offer.
"I will be counting on you then." I said realizing I have gained a faithful follower.
After chatting and advising babel for few minutes, I bid farewell and headed toward the exit of the dimension pocket.
It was a good decision to not kill babel and help him kill his brother because I gained lot of benefits from this little detour.
I gained almost year worth of supply of beast cores and a mythical beast core which will boost my strength tremendously.
Apart from that I gained myself a faithful subordinate, whom I can trust, it has been 11 long years since I have come to this world but it was the first time I have tried to form a relation with other beings of this planet, even if it is a beast.
