In front of everyone watching the fight, punches flew like bullets, the impact caused by the incessant attacks ringing throughout the arena.

Blood was pouring from the two fighters' wounds, but even though they were getting soaked, they didn't stop.

In perfect synchronicity, Yuji and Ohma delivered unstoppable blows to each other. There was no defense at that moment, only the purest desire to keep attacking.

The damage accumulated more and more in their bodies, to the point where they were far beyond the point of collapse.

If there was a meter capable of measuring the energy level of both fighters, it would surely show a value below 0.

But even so, the speed of the attacks didn't slow down for a single moment, even when they felt their bones creaking and their muscles tearing.

Because they knew that slowing down for a single second at that point meant defeat.

And as satisfied as both fighters were, neither wanted to lose.

After all, victory for a fighter was about overcoming limits so that they could go further and further.

Definitive proof that they had become stronger.

Boom!

Choking when he was punched in the stomach, Yuji countered with his own punch, hitting Ohma in the face and sending him reeling as he spat up blood.

With the two of them stepping away for a moment, Yuji wiped the blood from his lips while Ohma stared at him with a tired face completely smeared with blood.

"You look like shit." Yuji sneered at the fighter's decaying appearance.

But he wasn't in a position to mock anything either.

"You don't look any better yourself, kid." Ohma cracked a smile as he saw Yuji's face equally covered in blood.

"Ha!" Letting out a slight laugh, Yuji slowly began to approach. "The difference is that most of that blood isn't mine."

"Dream on." Ohma took a deep breath before starting to move.

With the two fighters closing the distance between them, Ohma was the first to strike with a straight punch, Yuji unable to dodge quickly enough and receiving the attack in full.

Blood spurted from a cut on the boy's face, but while Ohma believed he had landed a critical hit, he opened his eyes wide when his liver was suddenly struck, the intense pain shutting down his body completely for a single second and causing him to fall to his knees.

But, contrary to the spectators' expectations that Yuji would take advantage of this moment to finish the fight, they were surprised to see the boy on his knees in the same way as his opponent.

Everyone understood that both fighters had nothing left in them. Strength, energy, endurance, everything had been exhausted. In order to stay on their feet, their bodies were destroying themselves in a desperate act so that they could continue fighting.

It was...

An exciting scene!

Watching two fighters give their lives for their convictions. That was the perfect definition of kengan matches.

Give yourself completely to victory.

It was like that with Yamashita Ichinoshin, the one who, eons ago, had fought for the Nogi family name. And now it was the same with Ohma and Yuji.

Nogi Hideki could see it. He was finally able to understand.

To understand that Yamashita Ichinoshin had not died simply because of his ancestor's petty desires.

He had chosen how and where to die, fighting for his own convictions and desires.

Even though Yamashita Kazuo had already told him this, he still hadn't believed it. But watching those two fighters face each other without paying any attention to the world around them, he was finally able to understand.

That the curse placed on his family by Yamashita Ichinoshin didn't exist.

Because he had died on his own terms.

!

Blocking a flying knee, Yuji stumbled and quickly planted his hand on the ground, kicking out and hitting Ohma's temple with enough force to make the fighter's brain rattle.

Taking advantage of this moment of confusion, Yuji immediately lunged forward and grabbed the fighter's shoulder, but before he could execute any attack, he felt his body being pulled down by the flow manipulation.

Boom!

Receiving a kick to the jaw, Yuji rolled backwards as he stood up, his eyes wide as his breathing became ragged, blood dripping from all over his face.

Ohma shared the same appearance, both struggling to stand as their vision blurred from blood loss.

The time had come to decide the winner.

All the fighters watching that intense fight could see that. Neither of them would last more than a few seconds on their feet, so if they didn't want to end the fight in a stalemate, they should decide immediately.

Who would be the winner? Yuji Shinakawa, the one who carried the Yamashita name on his back, or Ohma Tokita, the successor to the powerful Niko style?

All of this would be decided in those few remaining seconds, in one last attack by both fighters.

One last act of desperation.

!

As the two advanced, they shortened the distance simultaneously, Ohma being the first to attack with a spinning elbow that Yuji promptly dodged, allowing the boy to strike with a hook-shaped punch that grazed Ohma's chin.

With neither attack landing a solid hit, they immediately attacked again, this time Ohma's punch hitting Yuji's jaw cleanly, while he had his own chin hit.

The damage rattled both of their brains even more, but that didn't stop them from continuing their assault, Yuji hitting Ohma's solar plexus full on, while the holder of the style hit back with a knee to his ribcage.

"This is it."

With both fighters retracting their fists in anticipation of a punch, the two gritted their teeth as they put all the remaining power in their bodies into this attack.

The defining attack of all, a punch that would go down in history for eons.

A punch that would completely change the history of kengan matches.

The punch that would finally decide the champion of the Kengan Annihilation Tournament.

The last punch, after infinite others.

Finally, they were pitted against each other.

Boom!

"And he's the winner!!!"
