Yamashita style.

A style created through the knowledge and experience accumulated during Yuji's life.

Boxing, Jeet Kune Do, Jiujitsu, MMA, and all the other martial arts he has mastered, all of which he has used to create his unique and exclusive style.

A style without fixed forms, with a system that evolves more and more as Yuji grows as a fighter. Discarding unnecessary and unfeasible techniques, the style is perfectly offensive, but also perfectly defensive.

A perfectly balanced style that could only be used by Yuji, since, very similar to Jeet Kune Do, as well as a combat style, it was also a philosophy, a way of life that Yuji had chosen to follow for a long time.

Every punch, kick, elbow, headbutt and twist carried their experiences.

That's what made the style strong.

That's why he couldn't be copied.

Boom!

[Yamashita Style Lv. 1]

Sweeping the distance between the two, the clone immediately punched out, its fist hitting Yuji's face hard enough to cause the whole floor to shake.

"Damn..."

As Yuji's voice rang out, the clone's eyes widened in surprise, his attention turning to the boy's face as he felt a grip on his wrist.

"That hurt a lot... Does that mean I'm strong, or weak?"

Apart from the blood dripping from his lips, Yuji didn't seem too affected by the attack, his grip on his opponent's wrist preventing him from escaping.

"Well, it doesn't matter."

Feeling his flow of power being manipulated, the clone could do nothing as his back was smashed against the ground, his forehead furrowing as he immediately turned to try another strike, only for a kick to hit him in the face hard enough to send him sprawling.

"If I lose, I'm weak. If I win, then I'm strong. That's all that matters."

Stopping his momentum, the clone raised his head in time to see a fist inches from his face, his eyes widening as he was barely able to dodge it.

Boom!

But Yuji seemed to expect it, a knee waiting for his opponent's face the instant he dodged it.

A blow that connected perfectly, the clone's head being thrown back by the impact, something that Yuji perfectly took advantage of, continuing his onslaught with a wave of attacks focused completely on his opponent's face.

Chin, forehead, nose, temple, every part of his skull had been hit incessantly, resulting in a constant rocking of his brain.

The clone, seeing himself in that disadvantageous situation, immediately advanced in the face of the attacks and grabbed Yuji, knocking him backwards onto the ground and trying to hold him down in order to let his brain stabilize in his skull.

Yuji realized this, and immediately freed himself from the grip on his body, using all the strength in his legs to throw the clone aside and mount on its abdomen, punching it relentlessly.

Yuji's change of pace was what had caused the role reversal during the fight. Even though Yuji's clone had the knowledge of all martial arts, he still suffered from something that most fighters feared.

The rhythm.

In a fight, the pace is what dictates the fight. In MMA, if one of the fighters spends all of the rounds exchanging blows, only to end up demonstrating a great mastery of grappling, this completely confuses his opponent, even if he already had prior knowledge that he should be great in this area.

That's what happened with the clone.

With the use of his new style, Yuji completely discarded the unnecessary movements of other martial arts, which gave the impression that his blows were even faster. His strength also seemed to have increased, since the boy began to put more force into certain blows with the intention of destabilizing his opponent's posture, something he used to do only at specific moments.

His footwork had also changed significantly, becoming more agile, based on a fusion of the principles of Boxing, Niko Style and Taekwondo, which were arguably the martial arts with the best footwork.

Overall, Yuji had completely changed his way of fighting, improving every aspect of himself.

This took the clone by surprise, who could only defend himself while trying to find a pattern in the attacks.

Despite being confused, he was surely adapting to the change of pace, an aspect of the [Unconscious] state, which made its user adapt to his opponent until he eventually overcame him.

The clone knew that he just needed to survive in order to overcome his opponent.

He just needed to survive, to overcome everyone.

The question was: would Yuji let it happen?

With the force of his back, the clone suddenly pushed the boy off him, quickly getting up and turning around.

Boom!

Obviously not.

With thunder sounding throughout the place, the clone was unable to react as Yuji passed him at a speed that surpassed even his [Fallen Angel] state, his brow furrowed as he remained completely static.

Yuji, who until then had been standing a few meters away from his clone, undid his stance, a sigh escaping his lips as he turned to his clone in time to see a deep cut forming on his chin.

"It was a great fight."

Yuji declared, a smile appearing on his lips as he watched his clone fall face-first to the ground.

"It helped me reach a whole new level."

Taking a step, Yuji gritted his teeth as countless cuts appeared on his legs, the boy barely able to stabilize himself so as not to fall.

Using [Lightning Flash], [Removal] and [Blast Core], Yuji had reached an even higher level with his speed, but the combination of the techniques ended up putting a strain that his body was still unable to withstand, which caused his leg muscles to tear and cuts to his skin.

"Fortunately, that's not the real world."

Sighing, the boy sat down on the ground, his eyes filling with interest when suddenly, his clone's body shattered into a black shadow, which advanced towards him and hit him directly in the chest.

The boy frowned when he saw this, but as he didn't feel anything harming him, he just let it continue, after all, he couldn't even walk anyway.

[Ding!]

When the shadow had completely entered his body, Yuji turned to a window that had suddenly appeared in front of him, raising an eyebrow in curiosity.

[Congratulations on mastering your [Unconscious] state! The system is happy to follow your progress!]

"What a bag-puller. Until a while ago, I was subtly insulted."

Pushing away the window, he let his back hit the floor, his attention turning upwards as he saw Niko approaching while helping Genzan walk, the old master looking much better than before.

"You seem to have realized that evil version of yourself. He really was a tough guy. Even though we got together, we still took a beating." Niko helped Genzan sit down, the old master sighing as he slowly crossed his arms.

"He took us by surprise. I could barely react when he twisted the flesh of my back."

Yuji looked at the two masters in silence, a small smile appearing on his lips.

"Good to see you're all well..."

"Of course, not even an evil version-"

"It would be shameful if you died twice." Cutting Niko off, Yuji continued, which caused the Niko-style master to frown.

"What do you mean? You think you can take me on, kid? You want a rematch?"

Yuji laughed at his master's reaction, slowly sitting down as he watched the wounds on his legs recover before his eyes.

"Maybe another time, I need to get back to the tournament."

"Chickeen."

"Don't be an idiot. Are you really a master of something?" Yuji stood up, a mocking smile on his lips.

"Of course, I'm the master of girls. At your age, girls would fall at my feet."

"Elderly people don't count, and falling at your feet with a heart attack doesn't either."

"What did you say? I only hear cackling."

As the discussion between the two continued, Genzan sighed, a small pleasant smile appearing on his lips, his eyes turning to Yuji to stare at him as he noticed a considerable change in the boy's aura.

'That boy... He's become much stronger.'

Feeling his wounds healing, Genzan uncrossed his arms, letting his body fall backwards, something that surprised Niko and Yuji.

'Setsuna, you bastard. Why did you kill me in the best generation?'
