____Narration____

Yuji's strength had become monstrous. His blows, as heavy as if they were made of titanium. His speed, surpassing even the current holder of the Raishin style.

But even so, Kuroki Gensai wasn't shaken.

No matter how many times his opponent changed or grew stronger, he was determined to win.

Yuji was undoubtedly someone with the potential to surpass everyone on the island, but Kuroki had no intention of losing that day.

He would show what years of experience could do against absolute talent.

Boom!

Returning to the fight, Yuji appeared in front of the old master in the blink of an eye, his fist launched towards his face like a bullet.

An attack so fast that Kuroki wasn't even able to see it.

!

But catching Yuji off guard, the young fighter was startled when he felt his wrist being hit, the trajectory of his attack deflected to leave him on his guard.

And before the boy could even process the event, he choked on his blood as the old master's hand struck him directly in the chest, his body pushed back with tremendous force.

"Anyone who only gets what they see right is a second-rate artist. Don't underestimate me, kid."

Stopping his momentum, Yuji struggled not to fall to his knees, blood dripping from his lips and staining the ground at his feet.

For a moment, he had forgotten who he was up against, and it almost cost him his victory.

But that was a mistake he wouldn't make twice.

Underestimating Kuroki Gensai? His exhausted body must have been driving him crazy.

Because the man in front of him was undeniably at the top.

"..."

Yuji took a deep breath, his guard slowly raised to get back into the fight.

"Sorry about that, it won't happen again. I guarantee it." He spoke with serenity in his tone, a huge contrast to his chaotic appearance. "Because it won't last much longer."

Boom!

Kuroki squinted as the young fighter advanced again, his arm rising in anticipation to block a fist that tried to reach his face. But the attack didn't stop there, when as he tried to counter, a fist hit him in the ribcage hard enough to fracture it, the old master gritting his teeth as he stepped back, only to be chased by a wave of attacks.

Kuroki felt himself being hit by countless sledgehammers, but this didn't seem to shake him when he brought his arms close to his body, forming a defensive stance used in karate.

"Sanchin." From the stands, it was Hatsumi who noticed the technique.

As the blows fell on the old master's defense, Yuji couldn't help but frown. He knew this karate technique well, but he had never seen anyone use it so proficiently before. He felt himself hitting a huge block of titanium, which refused to budge.

But he knew that if he continued to target him, it would only be a matter of time before this defense was broken.

So he only increased the power and speed of his attacks, which clearly began to destabilize Kuroki's posture, who even though his body was shaking from the blows, had an impassive expression.

Most of the fighters could only admire how determined the old master was, but they couldn't understand how he could be so calm in such a disadvantageous situation.

But in the face of that barrage of blows, Kuroki was quick to answer the question.

!

Demonstrating his mastery of the pre-initiative, Kuroki dodged a fist inches from his face, Yuji realizing this only when he didn't feel the sensation of hitting something.

That realization hadn't taken even a second, but for Kuroki, that was more than enough time.

Because before Yuji could make any move to try to escape a possible counterattack, he could only stare in pain as his liver was suddenly hit.

The impact hit him in such a way as to paralyze his body completely, his perception of his surroundings disappearing for a single moment.

A single moment that the old karate master took full advantage of.

Boom!

Yuji couldn't defend himself when a powerful elbow hit him directly in the stomach, blood escaping from his mouth as his body was thrown away until it crashed to the ground, further aggravating his internal damage.

"..."

At that moment, everyone realized.

Kuroki Gensai had beaten not just one fighter, but three.

Yuji Shinakawa, Ohma Tokita and Raian Kure.

"It's over." Sekibayashi declared.

Seeing how Yuji didn't even move on the ground, the wrestler concluded, and then turned to his fellow wrestlers to see their reactions.

But he felt confused when he saw all of them with their arms crossed in complete silence, just staring at the arena as if nothing much had just happened.

Why was everyone like that? The fight was clearly over.

So why were they looking at the arena as if something was about to happen?

"It's not over yet."

But to put an end to his confusion, Okubo was the one to break the silence.

"Something's about to happen. Just wait."

The normally playful fighter had a serious expression, and this made Sekibayashi feel curious, his eyes roaming around the arena until they landed on a clearly knocked-out Yuji.

Trying to notice something, Sekibayashi froze in terror after a few seconds of observation, his eyes widening as he was slowly able to see a powerful aura exploding from the boy's unconscious body.

An indication that, even knocked out, Yuji wasn't finished yet.

The fight wasn't over yet.

"..."

In the infirmary, the girls could only watch the screen broadcasting the fight in silence. None of them wanted to declare Yuji's defeat in advance, and why should they?

Because they trusted him completely.

They believed his promise that as long as they were watching him, he would never lose.

Elena, Senju, Kou, Karura, and even a weakened Hiyama, faithfully believed in the boy.

All of them couldn't think about Yuji's defeat at all.

Because they knew he would be the winner.

.

In the arena, the referee was undecided.

He wanted to finish the fight and declare victory for Kuroki, but there was something about that boy that stopped him. Something was telling him that the fight wasn't over yet, so he decided to wait a little longer.

But 10 seconds had passed and the boy had shown no sign of consciousness.

So, even though the feeling told him not to, he raised his arm.

"And victory goes to-"

But stopping him at the last second, the referee's eyes widened as the previously completely knocked out boy sat up without any sign of difficulty.

With sweat dripping from his brow, he decided it would be best to stand back and let them continue. His job as a referee was to preserve the lives of the fighters as much as possible, but seeing how that boy refused to give in made him want to continue watching that fight even more.

So, going against his code of conduct, he let the fight continue.

"..."

Surprising everyone, Yuji stood up without any sign of exhaustion, his body tone already back to normal, an indication that he was no longer using any of the enhancement techniques.

A big red flag, after all, if he hadn't been able to beat Kuroki with these techniques, how could he stand a chance just by relying on his own strength?

That's what many of the spectators thought, but none of them could have known what was happening to the young fighter.

Because in that instant, he had achieved something completely new.

.

Opening his eyes, Yuji surprised everyone with his completely black sclera, making him look extremely similar to a member of the Kure clan,

Erioh Kure, who until then had watched the fight in complete silence, was stunned by the scene, which made Katahara and Tokugawa startle at the sudden change in his expression.

"What? Why are you so surprised?" Tokugawa seemed very curious to understand what would shock the patriarch of a clan of assassins so much.

And he didn't wait long to receive an answer, when with his body shaking with rage, Erioh turned to him with a demonic expression, which surprised the old Tokugawa.

"That worm... He's achieved something my clan has been trying to achieve for hundreds of years! That bastard!"

"..."

"Ha-Haha... Hahahaha!"

Startling Katahara and Tokugawa, Erioh suddenly lost all the fury in his expression in a single instant and started laughing out loud, a change so sudden that it left the two old men completely shocked.

"That girl! My granddaughter really made the right choice! Hahaha!"

While old Kure laughed, the other two could only watch as they were ignored.

In fact, they were so shocked to see Erioh laughing that they had even forgotten to ask why.

"It's going to start." Returning to his serious face, Erioh suddenly declared, which caused the other two to turn towards the arena.

.

In the arena, Kuroki observed the boy's change with a slight frown. Once again, the boy was showing him something new, something that had made him even more dangerous.

But unlike the previous times, he wouldn't let it go on.

He would end it before the boy had a chance to show what this new state of his was capable of.

!

Advancing, Kuroki shortened the distance with a single thrust, and without a second thought, threw his hand towards Yuji's chest, completely disregarding the fact that the boy hadn't even taken a stance.

But surprisingly, Kuroki's eyes widened when he felt a grip on his wrist, his vision rising to find Yuji preventing his fingers from reaching him, his black eyes staring at him with an impassive expression.

Kuroki went on alert at this, but before he could escape, a punch hit him directly in the jaw, followed by a powerful knee that went through his defense like it was nothing.

Both blows hurt, but they weren't enough to stop him from counterattacking, and that's exactly what he did.

Launching a kick in the boy's direction, Kuroki gritted his teeth in pain as Yuji lifted his leg and kicked the side of his knee, which destabilized his posture and made the old master almost fall to his knees.

But as he was about to pull himself together, Kuroki suddenly jumped back as Yuji's hand passed inches from his face, a cut appearing on his cheek.

'Was that that boy's technique, Lihito?'

Placing his hand on the ground and propelling himself to stand, Kuroki raised his guard, but Yuji clearly had no intention of letting him rest, when in pursuit, he came at him with a flurry of attacks, which the old master was forced to block with difficulty.

But faced with that wave of attacks, Kuroki tried to use his mastery of pre-initiative to counterattack.

Unfortunately, Yuji seemed completely aware of his attempt.

The instant Kuroki dodged the first punch, he gritted his teeth as a knee struck him directly in the nose, his eyes closing in pain for a single second.

Just long enough for Yuji to shorten the distance between them and grab him by the shoulders, a move that, although he didn't see it, Kuroki realized.

Unfortunately, it was too late for any countermeasures.

Boom!

Kuroki vomited blood as he felt a fist hit him in the chest, his body jerked backwards as steam leaked from the spot.

[Ding!]

[Congratulations, you've learned [Dragon Shot]!]

Struggling to stand, Kuroki wiped the blood from his lips, his eyes narrowing as he regulated his breathing and slowly returned to his karate stance.

The master didn't know what the boy had just done, but he knew he couldn't let it happen again. The blow had been destructive, his broken ribs were telling him not to let him shorten the distance again.

But could Kuroki stop it? Erioh, who was watching the fight, didn't think so.

Because at that moment, Yuji had achieved what all masters seek in their lives.

Absolute mastery of martial arts.

Boom!

With a thunderclap startling everyone in the arena, Yuji vanished before everyone's eyes, Kuroki barely reacting as the boy flew past him like a bolt of lightning, his body giving way as he gripped the side of his belly to feel his flesh twist into a spiral.

'Raishin style? Did this kid copy it too?'

Getting up with difficulty, Kuroki turned to look at Yuji, his eyes flicking down to his feet, only to see them dripping blood and littering the floor where he stood.

'As expected, your legs can't stand the use of this technique.'

Kuroki could only admire the boy's copying skills. With this talent, the boy was destined to reach the top.

But that didn't mean he was accepting defeat. He still had fight in him, and he wouldn't just give in to these attacks.

Kuroki Gensai was still alive.

!

Boom!

With another thunderclap sounding throughout the place, Kuroki immediately raised his guard, this time diverting the trajectory of the boy's palm and destabilizing his posture, which left him with his guard open.

And he took advantage of this, quickly countering with a blow to the chin, a blow that connected perfectly.

Yuji felt his brain rattle, but that didn't stop him from countering with his own punch, which Kuroki promptly defended, only to find himself hit by a spinning elbow straight to the jaw.

This exchange of blows continued, with Kuroki blocking the most dangerous attacks and Yuji avoiding the old master's devil spear.

Everyone watching could only wait in anticipation as they cheered for one of the fighters to win.

In the stands, some fighters were cheering for Yuji to stay on his feet, while others wanted Kuroki to be declared the winner.

In the infirmary, the girls shouted Yuji's name in cheers, completely ignoring the injuries to their bodies.

In the president's VIP room, the three old men were cheering for the young promise to win, which made the guards responsible for protecting them look at each other.

Everyone on the island watched the fight with excitement, anxiously awaiting the outcome of the fight that had gone on for so long.

And back in the arena, both fighters' injuries were piling up more and more, but Yuji seemed to be clearly subdued after a few seconds' contest of strength.

Kuroki began to excel with every second, his blows connecting more and more as he became able to see Yuji's blows clearly.

And after a few more exchanges of blows, Yuji found himself unable to keep up with his opponent, who just kept attacking him while the boy struggled to defend himself.

Kuroki noticed this and realized it was time to end the fight.

Yuji had fought well. He had given him the best fight of his life, but he had already reached his limit.

He would like to follow this boy's future and see him reach the top.

'Thanks for the fight, kid.'

Pushing Yuji's arm up with an elbow, Kuroki retracted his right hand in anticipation, his expression hardening as he launched his right hand like a bullet.

Yuji's black eyes seemed to fill with realization as he saw the blow approaching, his forehead furrowing as the veins in his body leapt over his skin once again.

At that moment, Yuji's thoughts were filled only with the desire to win, but even so, for a single instant, he regained his consciousness to remember his motivations.

He had promised the people he cared about and himself that he would never lose again. All his two years of training couldn't have been in vain, he couldn't accept that.

He had been through hell, fought the most dangerous opponents and earned countless scars, just for this moment.

He would never accept defeat.

That's why he would use every fiber of his being to win. Every muscle, every bone, every cell. He would use everything.

To win.

Boom!

The moment Kuroki's hand reached him, the old master could do nothing as the boy's fist came up in front of his face, hitting him with an unconscionable force that far exceeded the strength of any opponent he had faced in his life.

A force that even he was unable to resist.

!

Kuroki's body flew backwards like a cannonball, his back hitting the wall with enough force to cause a tremor throughout the arena, which startled most of the spectators.

Yuji, whose fist was still in the same position as the blow, coughed up blood as he fell to his knees, several cuts suddenly appearing on his right arm.

[Blast Core Lv. 10] >>> [Blast Core Lv. 20]

Not feeling his arm and unable to move it, he sighed as his eyes returned to normal.

At that moment, he couldn't even raise his head, so he could only wait patiently for Kuroki not to have been able to resist.

Fortunately, his hopes had not been in vain.

"In a surprising twist, the winner is none other than the God Anomaly, Yuji Shinakawa!!!"
