_________Narration_________
Weeks before Yuji's trip.
"And I won!"
Sitting around a table, Yuji sang victory as he watched his three friends with their heads resting on the table, several plates piled up in front of them, while in front of Yuji was an even bigger pile.
"Do you have a black hole in your stomach?" Akira raised his head with difficulty as he struggled to speak.
"Damned monster." Osanai muttered as he kept his head down.
"You are a bunch of bad losers." Yuji laughed at the plight of the three.
That day, there was a party going on in town, so deciding that they would enjoy it together, the group of friends went out to try out the party stalls, a restaurant with a promotion catching their attention at some point. This excited them, and deciding to compete to find out who was able to handle the most food, Yuji came out as the victor when he was able to eat 16 full plates of food.
"I think I'm going to be sick." Shiki spoke as he clutched his stomach. The poor boy had been able to eat 3 plates before he gave up.
"So! I think I just broke the record for this restaurant, maybe they want a picture of me on the wall of fame?" Yuji asked proudly, his attention turning to a waiter who approached him.
"I am sorry sir, but you have not broken our restaurant record." The waiter said.
Yuji widened his eyes in disbelief. Someone had eaten more than 16 whole plates of food? Sure, that wasn't his limit, but still, it was a lot of food for another person who didn't have the metabolism like his.
"Oh, so who does this record belong to?" He asked curiously.
"A few hours ago, a man came into the restaurant and broke all records, eating 30 plates of our food as if it were the most wonderful thing in the world." The waiter spoke with his eyes shining, as if the scene of a person devouring several pounds of food was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen in his life. "Before he left, we asked his name, and he told us his name was Ohma Tokita."
Yuji's eyes narrowed the moment the name came out of the waiter's mouth, a powerful aura exploding from his body for an instant, before disappearing as quickly as it appeared.
"Oh, so it was him..." Yuji nodded in agreement, a dangerous smile appearing on his lips. "Alright, bring me more food, as much as you can cook! Today I will break every record in this restaurant!"
The boy's three companions immediately raised their heads in shock, they stared at Yuji as if he were crazy.
'Even if I can't face him now, I can beat him at this.'
Yuji's evil smile widened, as if what he was doing was the most evil thing ever done by man.
"Hahaha!" He laughed out loud, the waiter running toward the kitchen with sweat pouring down from his forehead.
.
Amid the crowd of people, a red-haired teenager was walking among the people with a peaceful gaze, a pretty girl accompanying him at his side.
"Where do you want to eat, Kozue?" The redhead asked, the girl's attention turning to him, before shifting to the surrounding stalls and restaurants.
"How about in that restaurant?" The girl, Kozue, pointed to a restaurant, which seemed to have some people gathered outside watching something going on inside the establishment.
This caught the redhead's attention, the two teenagers approaching the huddle of people outside to see what was going on.
"Uh?" The boy stared at what was happening inside as if confused as to why people would stop to see that.
At a table in the restaurant, a teenager with brown hair that stretched to the back of his head was frantically eating the food on several plates like an animal, the waiters in the place mesmerized by him, as if he were the most beautiful thing they had ever seen in their lives.
"I think we'd better eat somewhere else, Baki." Kozue spoke as she regarded that situation with strangeness.
Baki, not responding for a few seconds, just nodded in agreement, the two of them walking away from the place as they looked for another place to eat.
Yuji, who was eating his food without bothering about anything, suddenly stopped, his eyes turning to the spot where Baki and Kozue had been standing just a few moments before.
'I felt a strong presence...' He thought, his eyes fixed on the vacant spot for several seconds, before he shrugged and turned back to his food.
.
Lying under a tree, Ohma Tokita had a relaxed expression, until he suddenly frowned, the man sitting up while staring straight ahead for several seconds.
"I feel like I've been defeated..." He muttered, his eyes narrowing.
Standing on his feet in an instant, he adhered to a combat stance, punching the air while suddenly beginning a training session.

.
After being able to break Ohma Tokita's record, Yuji was returning home after saying goodbye to his three friends, a smile of accomplishment on his lips.
As much as it was not a fight, he still considered it a victory, so it was more than enough for him to feel proud of it.
"Damn... So much food has made me sleepy."
.
At that moment, the three men were close, but at the same time far enough away that they were unable to meet.
Yuji, Baki and Ohma.
It was not yet time, but it was certain that at some point, they would meet.
These events brought a sense that fate was moving some pieces towards this, but it seemed to have been stopped by a powerful force, an anomaly that did not allow the three to come face to face.
At least not yet.
