The stench of Dead Mutant blood blanketed the atmosphere of the old, abandoned fortress; bodies lay everywhere with severe wounds and bite marks slowly healing and regenerating.
The being responsible for the bloodshed had not yet fully grasped the regenerative abilities of Dead Mutants, nor had they become aware of how great of a task it was to kill one for good.
The first was through mercilessly burning them in Fire Mutant fire and the second was severing their heads from their bodies, making sure to separate the two as far from each other as possible.
For that reason, most of the Dead Mutants that were "killed" began to regenerate and came back to life, ready with newfound strength and energy to kill the one who killed them first but that wasn't going to be as easy as they had anticipated.
