[The Shadow Realm]
Countless hours of rigorous training with the Shadow Being Sil went by painfully slowly. The four teens and Shadow Clone were pushed beyond their limits multiple times, their bodies constantly beaten, torn down, and then reshaped into chiseled powerhouses of strength.
Despite all of this, something was still lacking especially for the soon-to-be- Shadow King. The training Sil made them do was the equivalent of training a man how to be a soldier without putting him on the battlefield.
All they knew was fighting theory and techniques but rarely did they get the chance to put what they learned into good use. Sure, fighting and killing beasts in the Advanced Tier was quite the challenge for Krista and Dezhong but it wasn't enough for them to grow stronger faster. Somehow, they felt like what they were doing was no longer producing the results they so desperately needed.
