Green light lit the cramped walls of the tunnel as the energy-based Neveahian Junior Mutant put his mutant abilities to the test.
Jason, agitated by the sight of the same worm that got him into the tunnels, attempted to attack the beast where it stood. Without even thinking straight for a moment, he already darted towards it at full speed.
Both fists folded, the Mutant leaped at the beast and then ducked, missing getting his head bitten off. As small as he was, Jason still struck the creature's chest, precisely where its crystal was most likely positioned.
His plan was simple; overwhelm the beast's crystal energy with his own until it couldn't sustain its body any longer. This strategy, which he had never tried before nor seen anyone perform, was one of the many wild ideas that made the Neveahian boast in strength he clearly did not possess.
