Another room adjacent to the one Greenie, Blondie, and Dark Prince were in housed Dezhong's father, Damian Prince, the once beloved and currently missed Chief of Desper's Police force.
His son, the soon-to-be Shadow King, had him delivered here because of two accounts of citizens trying to murder him, the first being at the hospital and the second being at the Police Safe House somewhere in Desper.
Since the medical science of the Normals and Mutants did nothing for the man's health, his son brought him to the Shadow Realm to see whether the medicinal science of the Shadow Beings could do anything.
