The beast, now greatly angered by the loud noise caused by Zhao's button-shaped machine and the squad soldier's screams, started to scream and shake uncontrollably in the confined spaces of the tunnels. As soon as this happened, Zhao rushed for Carla and pushed her into the hole before a massive boulder blocked their path. Now, it was just Dheng Zhao Prince and the beast itself. Two relentless and fearless souls, neither willing to back down nor surrender.
"Never back down, never what?" is what Zhao asked himself as he glared at the beast, and somehow, the beast nodded in response, as if it understood what he was saying. "Only one of us is making it out of here."
