Feeling his heart beating in his throat, Dezhong panicked immensely while his thoughts slowly strayed from him. His thoughts grew more and more wild as he slowly slipped into a state of senseless violence. The more he tried to fight it, the stronger and more violent the wild thoughts came in. However, as all of this happened, Dezhong was keeping track and taking count of the hours.
Ever since he returned from the Shadow Realm, the young werewolf had set a timer to see how long it would take for Dez to show up. Since his system declared that he had no control over the dark side, he decided to time himself and see how long it would take for Dez to show up. However, this wasn't a simple experiment that would be done overnight. For this to work, he needed to conduct these time tests for days and fully master the pattern in which Dez would show up and disappear.
