Desper's wealthiest citizens, men, and women involved in the Mutant Fight, found themselves conducting a shady form of business that was only favorable for them; determining who the winner for the Mutant Fight would be before it even started.
Located in the wilderness of Desper—an open and barren plain with nothing but thick pockets of sand and dunes stretching for miles—the rich and their Mutants gathered under the watchful eyes of acting Chief Ethan Knight spearheading the entire event.
A small, raised platform was set up for the rich to spectate from with a shade protecting them from the wilderness sun while the Mutants, about twenty-four in total, got themselves ready to contend with each other.
