"MUTANT FIGHT!!!"
The buzz surrounding the Mutant Fight spread across Desper like Christmas used to in the days of old. Hundreds of thousands of young men, women, boys, girls, teens, adults, middle-aged folks, and senior citizens all anticipated the fight, either positively or negatively.
Negatively, thousands dejected the idea of supporting the entertainment that revolved around watching men, women, and teenagers beat each other up into bloody pulps, unconsciousness, or even permanent injury.
Despite these concerns, the majority of Desper's citizens did not bat a single eye at the "negative concerns". To them, it was entertainment and a chance for their city to make money and put itself on the global map. It was also a chance for many individuals, businesses, Mutants, and Normals to get what they needed the most; a chance to make a lot of money.
