"Do you hear the sounds of the shadows?"
Krista's ears wiggled as they picked up the sensitive sounds of 'shadows' moving about. Her eyes, glowing a golden hue, worried Jin Peng, who had just fed her two eelrats. The dragon looked at the young girl and feared that he had just helped her gain enough energy to escape.
Thankfully, her body hadn't healed fully, and her wounds were still evident, so he had no reason to worry anymore. Nonetheless, the man was still cautious, both towards Krista and the words she uttered.
"Sounds of the shadows?" Jin wondered and asked the girl what she meant, but she remained quiet, her glowing eyes fixated on the man. "What the hell are you ta…"
*BANG* *BANG* *BANG*
Three knocks on the rooftop. A signal Crimson Malice made for Jin, notifying him of any incoming presence. This was already discussed and agreed upon a few hours ago, and so the two were ready to confront whoever was approaching them.
