Under the commands of Number 1, Daeva gave up control over Jin's body and resided back inside, letting the Human deal with these masked men and women.
When Jin returned, he gagged on Number 1's fist in his mouth and coughed uncontrollably before falling to the ground in exhaustion. The man had yet to get the rest he needed and Daeva's rage expedition drained him of every last ounce he had left.
"Wh…what ha…ppened…" he asked, taking note of the flames in the building. From them emerged the other five masked men and women and again, none had injuries on their bodies or burn marks on their clothes.
"Jin Peng," Number 1 spoke calmly, his voice sounding like a rushing river, "you did well fetching the Feline Beast but your goal was to deliver both Feline and Canine. What happened?"
