[Slipping in and out of consciousness.]
The shame and embarrassment Blake felt could not easily be described in just mere words. The young man felt hopeless and scared all because of his terrible defeat. Most of all, he was in an excruciating amount of pain so horrible that it was difficult for him to scream.
His body, shaking in fearful fright and tremors of pain, slipped in and out of consciousness while trying its level best to stop the bleeding from his severely fractured arm. Three bones stuck out of his flesh and with them dripped volumes of blood.
Had it not been for the one carrying him in his hands, Blake would surely have died that night. His guardian angel, or rather shadowy wisp, carried him away from the forest and took him to the only place it knew that would help Blake.
The Gorilla's Base.
