General's still-conscious body was retrieved by one of the six clones made from shadows, quickly bringing him closer to Dezhong so he could see what he could do to help him. In the meantime, the other Conjured Shadows regrouped with the young werewolf as they attempted to create a plan of escape.
All around them were over thirty Dark Force entities itching to dig their claws, jaws, and teeth into their bodies. For Dezhong, there was no way of escape, and he could feel a presence hindering him from creating a portal back to the Over World. The same thing that happened in Desper was now happening in the Cavern.
"That damn Nightshade has blocked my Dark Matter energy," he complained. "I can't create a Realm Shift portal."
