Evacuation!!
Due to the wildfires spreading throughout the forest, the Police and Fire Fighters, along with the help of Desper's own Military, evacuated those who stayed close to the city's forest.
For hours, the city's firefighters had been battling the flames, making slow but steady progress. However, just to make sure that there wouldn't be any casualties, it had been decided that those staying within/close to the forest would be evacuated immediately, including the students of Eastern Desper High.
"That's strange, our school's not close to the forest," one student pointed out, noting how redundant it seemed to him that they'd evacuate Eastern Desper High's students even though they were a very good distance away from the forest. "We're not even close to the green fields that follow the forest. Heck, I can't see any signs of fire, let alone smoke."
