As he walked down the streets of Western Desper, Dezhong took in the peace and quietness the area had, something that the East did not have. Apart from the dystopian towering buildings overshadowing the sun's natural light, the western part of town was surprisingly peaceful and beautiful.
The streets were clean, the people were calm and humble, some more pretentious than normal. The buildings, though unorganized, were clean and well taken care of. The ambiance was surprisingly peaceful, especially given the fact that it was nearly nightfall and most of Desper's citizens grew lively.
