[Somewhere in Central Desper.]
CRAIN agents spread across Desper's streets as they searched desperately for the pendants which were thrown from the heavenly city Neveah. The agents kept communication with their leader, the black-robed man who had his eye seriously injured, through the chips in their wrists. The CRAIN agents in central Desper were having a tough time locating the pendants since thousands of people crowded the streets while marching and celebrating.
"There are too many people out here at this time."
"How are we supposed to get the pendants?"
"We can't find the pendants this easily with this crowd."
"East Wing. I hope you're making more progress than the west wing is?" Their leader questioned.
"Negative. Although the streets are empty, we've lost two signals for two pendants, Sir."
"What? How can that be?"
"We lost one signal an hour ago and then the second one disappeared about ten minutes ago, Sir."
"DAMN IT!!" He slammed his fist into his thigh. "Hurry up and find the third one, NOW. Once someone else retrieves it, we're finished. CRAIN will be destroyed and none of you will have jobs or be alive, UNDERSTOOD?"
"Yes, Sir."
The CRAIN agents, or Hunters, followed the last beacon on their tracking device through the crowd and eventually found themselves at an unwanted location. "Strange. According to this, the last tracker is in...."
"RedZone." They all gasped as each of them regrouped at the main bridge that connected Desper and RedZone. Even though some of these men lived in Neveah, they'd still receive information on how dangerous RedZone was. Its notorious reputation managed to make itself known all over the world, so even the elites had to pay attention to this forsaken land.
"We've been through worse, Hunters." The field operative Hunter leader spoke as he took lead. "We've trained for much worse things than this so fear will not be tolerated. Now, let's get moving. The more time we waste, the faster it'll take for us to fail to find that pendant."
The CRAIN agents, each in their black suits and shades, casually made their way into RedZone. Walking through the streets, they noticed how wild the place was, especially at that hour of the night. Heavy metal music echoed across the streets while people threw wild parties. There were screams, cheers, rants, chants, and all other sorts of noises one could think of. The CRAIN agents took out their crystal power guns for two reasons. One: RedZone had the highest crime and mortality rate than any other city in the world. It was safer for one to walk through a lion-filled game park than to walk through RedZone, especially at night. Two: RedZone was well known for having bloodthirsty mutants. Three in every five persons were mutants in this town, making it even more dangerous.
"This place is way worse than I imagined."
"Tell me about it. I've heard stories about this place. All along, I thought they were exaggerated but looking at it sends shivers down my spine."
"Don't lose focus, men. We're close. Very close. Follow me." Their field leader commanded as they all ran in the direction he led them into.
"Oh no."
"Not this place. Anything but this place."
"Of all places, it has to be here."
"Sir, are you sure this is the correct location?"
"You can all check your trackers. This is where the last pendant is." The CRAIN agent looked at his comrades and said, "We have to move, now. This is nothing like we've faced before. For crying out loud damnit, we're CRAIN for crying out loud. Don't ever let that slip out of your mind."
"Bust sir, this particular place isn't safe for anyone, not even us."
"Yeah. Why do you think CRAIN has failed to infiltrate RedZone. It's because of him.
"Move ahead, NOW!!"
"SIR!!"

[BEGIN!!]
Kong and gray hoodie attacked each other with a single punch, and both of their fists clashed against each other. Many of the spectators thought the boy would fall to the ground in pain but he wasn't shaken at all. The force and slight breeze from the punch made many wince as they imagined the bone-shattering pain grey hoodie must have been facing.
However, grey hoodie stood in place with his fist still pushing back against Kong's. " You're surprisingly strong. For a boy like you, an attack like this should have broken your arm." Kong smirked.
" Should have.!" Grey hoodie quickly drew back his arm and attacked with the other, sending an upper cut to Kong. It made contact with the gang leader's chin and tilted his head slightly upwards. Grey hoodie grinned as he continued with two fast punches on Kong's cheeks.
The crowd cheered as grey hoodie inflicted several punches at once on the gang leader while others booed at Kong for allowing the little boy to hit him.
Grey hoodie drew back both arms and said, " This is for all the shots, baby." He placed his left foot forward, lifted himself up and hit Kong's lower jaw. However, his fist didn't move at all as Kong stiffened his entire body. "What the...."
Kong grabbed the boy by his arm and lifted him like a doll and said, " I commend you for your bravery, young one. However..." Using half of his energy, he punched gray hoodie's ribs to the point where a large cracking sound was heard by everyone. " You're still a newbie fighter."
Kong kick slammed grey hoodie to the ground and watched him wince in pain as he applied pressure to his broken ribs. " For the sake of your other ribs, I suggest you stay down, Boy. You've got a fighter's spirit, I'll give you that. But you also lack self-control and for that, you weren't able to beat me." Kong muttered as he pounded his fists together.
The crowd turned their cheers back to Kong with a few still cheering for grey hoodie to get up on his feet again. Kong smirked with pride and commended grey hoodie for listening by not getting up. However, whoever was under the hoodie did the unexpected and slowly got back on his feet with his fists close to his face.
Though badly beaten and dripping blood from his mouth, no one apart from Kong noticed the yellow glow in his eyes as his muscles bulged. His legs slowly enlarged in his pants and Kong swore he could see fangs growing in the boy's mouth. ' A mutant! He could be of great importance to me and the gang."
" Those eyes. They do not deceive anyone." Kong deliberately whispered knowing very well that grey hoodie could hear him. " You're a mutant. Don't get me wrong, you've got potential and I need one in my inner circle. But I'm not going to make it easy on you."
" No problem. I wasn't looking for the easy way anyway. Also, I'm not a mutant." Grey hoodie replied with multiple voices speaking at once.
-----------
Dezhong watched from a distance as he and the others watched grey hoodie stand up and challenge Kong once more. To be honest, he thought he wouldn't get up after hearing the loud cracking sound of his ribs but after noticing how fast he was able to recover, Dezhong realized that Kong's opponent wasn't exactly 'normal'.
' He's a mutant, just like me. Of course. Only they and the Crystalians can regenerate from an attack that fast. Question is, what kind of mutant is he?'
