Chapter 1

タッチダウン (Touch Down)

— "Welcome to Aoyama. Have a safe trip and for those who returned, welcome home!", the announcer went off.

Aozora's eyes were glued to her phone as she navigated her way out of the plane. She was immediately stopped in her tracks when she bumped into someone's back. The tall man in front of her let out a grunt before turning to look at Aozora.

Aozora let out a shriek before apologizing to the man. She scruffled away towards her father who shook his head, as he watched the event unfold.

— "I told you to stop playing with your phone when you're walking", her father said while glaring down at her. Aozora grinned cheekily before responding.

— "I know dad, you told me like a million times but you know girls are girls. PLUS! I need to let my loyal fans know that I have already arrived in Aoyama".

Her father only shook his head in response as the two walked towards the exit of the airport terminal. The bodyguards and fellow staff members, closely the two from behind. The exit of the airport terminal was filled with dozens of people who were either waiting for their friends, relatives, or loved ones to arrive. Aozora and her father were met with dozens of light flashes and sounds of camera shutters. Fans of Aozora were yelling, loud and proud, trying to get her attention. All Aozora could do was smile while waving as she continued to walk out of the terminal. Hearing some questions being thrown at her, she immediately tried her best to answer them as fast as possible. She knew she was worn out but she didn't want to seem rude in front of people who had supported her since her debut as a model. Her father could only let out a grunt as some fans tried to pass through the barrier.

Aozora could vividly remember this experience when her late mother was still alive. Becoming a model for her father's clothing brand was never her choice. When she passed on, she told herself that she was going to continue modeling for the sake of her mother. She knew how much her mother liked modeling.

— "Aozora! Remember, no wandering around without any bodyguards with you", her father raised his voice causing her to snap out of her thoughts. She nodded her head hesitantly, not understanding what her father had just said as she buckled her seatbelt.

The car started to move which caught Aozora off guarded. Holding her phone to her chest as she calmed herself down. She turned to look at her father but his eyes were glued to his laptop. Aozora let out a sigh before turning to look out of the car window. She could see so many big luxurious buildings as they entered the central part of Aoyama. She could only think of how much her late mother would have liked to come here.

— "Aozora, remember you are going to enroll in a new school. So please for the love of God, don't cause any trouble", her father spoke without looking away from his laptop.

— "Right!", Aozora responded before looking away. Mutters of curses went unheard by her father. She may be a popular clothing model but when it comes to school, she causes a lot of mischiefs. In her accords, some people just boil her blood.
