Crow opened his eyes to a classroom. The desks were neatly organized in the room, and people were laughing and enjoying themselves. Crow was sitting at his desk alone.
'𝘐, 𝘸𝘩𝘺 𝘢𝘮 𝘐 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦?'
He looked for a second to see what was going on. He blinked, and he was in a bathroom stall hiding from something.
"We know you're in here, freak," a voice came from the bathroom door as it swung open, hitting the back wall. Crow was shaking nervously and couldn't move.
'𝘖𝘩... 𝘐 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵'𝘴 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨.'
Each stall door swung open, causing a loud crash each time. They reached the stall Crow was in.
'𝘗𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵.'
Laughing could be heard from the other side of the door.
'𝘗𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦'
The boys started to count down as they did with each other stall door.
"1," they laughed some more
'𝘗𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦'
"2"
'𝘋-𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵'
"3!"
'𝘕𝘖!'
They kicked in the door with another loud crash then Crow woke up. Still, on top of Chug's decapitated body, Crow was hyperventilating. He looked down at his friend, pushed himself off him, and puked on the ground. Chug's room was destroyed more than it had already been. Wooden figures were on the ground, and blood was splattered on the surrounding area. He got up and wiped the vomit off of his face. Crow picked the ax off the ground and climbed the ladder when a new quest appeared.
𝐐𝐔𝐄𝐒𝐓: 𝐀 𝐖𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐫'𝐬 𝐃𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝟐
𝐀𝐂𝐂𝐄𝐏𝐓 𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐘
He accepted the quest with some hesitation.

Without much thought, Crow started to chop down the trees in the forest. During the day, he would chop and, at night, carve. The quest only took him a week. The figure he created was knee height and plump. Crow used two green rocks for its eyes. In the figure's hand was a small twig fashioned into the shape of a sword, and engraved into its shoulder was the word 'Chug.'

Soon after he completed the quest, Crow fainted from lack of sleep. After waking up, he cried for a while. Gaining some of his composure, he made breakfast from the leftover food Chug had left behind.

'𝘘𝘶𝘪𝘤𝘬 𝘊𝘢𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴?'
Crow pressed his new ability on the HUD.

'𝘊𝘰𝘰𝘭'
Crow thought about what to do for a second and then remembered his first ability. He picked up his new figure and gave a slight smile.
"Use Small Construct"
𝐏𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚 𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞.
'𝘈 𝘯𝘢𝘮𝘦?'
He sat there holding the figure, trying to come up with a name. Chug was the first name that came to mind, but he didn't think he could handle that. He then thought of 'War of Heroes.'
"Venn"
Another HUD appeared.

'𝘚𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘭𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭 𝘶𝘱 𝘵𝘰𝘰?'
Crow stared at Venn for a while and just smiled. He was proud of his creation and the work he put in. He then looked around at the destroyed room and sighed.
"Venn, help me clean."
Venn started to clean but didn't get anywhere besides picking up small pieces of garbage. Crow took the next week to clean the room and carve a tiny coffin for Chug. They then had a small funeral for him.
"Chug... I'm sorry for not being able to protect you." Crow gulped as he held the tears in his eyes, "Thank you for taking care of me" Crow then buried the coffin with some of Chug's figures.
Another day had passed when Crow decided to leave the cave. He started walking through the forest, looking for the nearest town. Venn was walking beside him through the primarily silent journey. The forest was also quiet aside from the occasional animal and leaves rustling. Anytime they heard something that could have been dangerous, they hid. A week of travel went by without encountering anything. They started to set up camp once again in the night. Crow sat on a small boulder, looking into the fire when the boulder began to move. He jumped backward next to Venn, holding his ax high. Eight legs spurted from the bottom of the boulder, and eight eyes opened.
'𝘈 𝘷𝘦𝘪𝘭 𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘳? 𝘏𝘦𝘳𝘦?'

Veil Spider: A spider of disguise. This creature hides itself within various parts of nature. It's agility and intelligence are some of it's greatest strengths. Those who adventure into the wilderness are often caught off guard due to how well the spiders hide. Even some of the most experienced adventurers will be fooled by these nasty monsters. They are more often than not located in caves and darker parts of the world. Veil spiders are the number one killer of low levels players in 'War of Heroes'.
