A young girl yawns as she reads a web novel, Ascension of Faith, a fantasy adventure. The novel tells the story of a young man following his dreams to be the strongest hero in the continent, with his feature wife beside him.
"Tch." She clicked her tongue, displeased by how sexiest this novel is. "Obviously made by a man who still thinks women are weak little house wife's. The story is good, the descriptions are good, just the author being sexist!" She rants.
"Isabelle! Go to bed!" A woman's voice boomed from down the hall.
"Yes!" She called back, placing her phone on the charger before going to bed.
The next morning, she headed off to school, her brown hair swayed behind her as she reads another web novel. She was obviously not wanting to read anymore of Ascension of Faith. She looked up to see her crush, a little ways from where she was.
A man with raven black hair, beautiful blue eyes, amazing toned body, very much like he was out of a novel. The main character at most from his looks. She was the extra in his story.
She sighed deeply before a girl, similar in her age went up to him.
The ever so popular girl and best friend of her crush. She would be either the female lead or the hot villainess, she can't blame herself.
Selene Collin and Issac Wood.
She envied them but doesn't hold a grudge unlike the other girls. Both of them are from rich families, and knowing what such people do, she doesn't want to be on the bad side either way.
Making it to her class, she sat down at her desk. Automatically going to the novel, clicking on Ascension by accident from her preoccupied mind.
She grumbles softly.
"Huh? You actually read that? Isn't it sexiest towards women?" A beautiful voice asked, making her look up. Selene was right behind her looking at her phone screen.
"No, I must've touched it by accident. The story and character descriptions are nice... Expect the sexiest with the females...." Isabelle replied to the question like nothing.
"Right? After reading up to chapter 7, I just stopped. If the females were developed properly, I would've liked it more." Selene sighed as she sat at the desk beside Isabelle.
"I made it to the end of the update, mainly out of pure boredom, but at least I know how to develop men. Have them act like women." Isabelle joked making Selene laugh. Some other girls heard as they muffled and laughed.
"Hey! Isn't that rude!" A guy yelled.
"Oh? I actually hurt your feelings? I'm so sorry, I didn't know the big boy could actually cry." Isabelle sarcastically replied. "Tell your mother that as well." Her eyes went cold.
Everyone was shocked as Isabelle was known for being quiet.
"Never underestimate the quiet kid, wouldn't be surprised if she pulled out a gun." A deep sexy voice broke the silence.
Everyone looked at the voice, Issac.
Isabelle dramatically gasped. "How did you know I carried one around?"
"Wait seriously?!" Selene looked at her.
Isabelle deadpanned. "My mother would kill me if she knew."
"Pfft-" Issac held his laughter. Selene sighed in relief.
"However, I do know how to fight." Isabelle proudly announces. "Courtesy of my elder brother."
Issac held his stomach, holding back more laughter. 'This girl...'
"You have an elder brother? I didn't see him whenever the festivals came up." Selene asked while explaining.
Isabelle was silent before smiling. "His in a better place. That's all." She had her eyes closed, she knew how to hide her sorrow.
Issac immediately stopped and looked over to the girl. Selene flinched. "I'm so sorry, i-"
"It's fine. It has been quite a few years now." Isabelle cut her off. 'Although, it can't help to hurt.' she thought.
"You don't need to worry, I don't like it when people pity me just because of that. It's very....annoying." she coldly stated.
Selene sighed.
After school, Isabelle walked to her locker grabbing her bag. She saw her elder brother's picture in the back, she smiled warmly at it.
"Hey." A voice suddenly out as someone leaned against the lockers opposite to the open door.
Isabelle looked over. "Yeah?" She was surprised that Issac was talking to her, keeping her emotions in check.
"Wanna come with me and Selene to a restaurant?" He asked just as Selene came up.
Isabelle blinks. "Aren't you and her dating??" She asked.
Selene gaped. "Ew, no! Why would I date this beast? He is no way my type!" She refutes immediately.
"That hurts." Issac nonchalant replied.
"Oh, it pretty much looks like that with how close you two are." Isabelle laughed lightly.
"We're just friends, and don't get the wrong idea." Issac sighed.
"Sure, I'll go. If you're paying." Isabelle smiled brightly.
{Don't go!}
The three were happily talking in a restaurant, not some fancy one, especially for Isabelle's heart.
The three began to walk to the car Issac drove, the restaurant was in an area where cars can't be parked at the sidewalk. Just as they walked across the street, a truck came.
Selene was right in front, Issac being closer to the back. Isabelle immediately thought of what happened to her brother.
"B-Big brother?!" a young her called out to a man that was lying in front of her. The man had saved her from being hit by a car. He was barely holding onto life as he looked forward, "please.... Stay...safe... For.. me.." he teared up.
Isabelle's body responded, quickly pushing her out of the way on the other side.
Selene was in absolute disarray, looking back at her newly found best friend. Isabelle smiled as she got hit in her steed.
"Isabelle!" Selene called out while tearing up.
"Isabelle!" Issac called along with Selene.
The truck continued on.
Isabelle laid there with her eyes looking at the ground, shortly she felt her body in absolute pain. She could barely hear what was happening, nor see as her vision was barely gone .
As she looked, her eyes widened. "...Bi...g... bro..ther..?" She voiced out, her voice being weak. She stared at a man in front of her before her vision went black.

After Story
Selene shouted at Isabelle to stay awake as Issac called for an ambulance. Many people gathered around concerned as they tried to help calm Selene down.
"...Bi...g... bro..ther..?" her voice had come out, although it sounded very weak.
The girl was hit badly, with being run over. Blood was gushing out at a fast rate, her sorrowful state was shown as the girl didn't know she was crying.
Selene was shocked at her friend's response. "Isabelle! Stay with us!" She bent down as the ambulance and police finally arrived.
Issac was shaking as he watched things pass by at a fast yet slow rate. He had seen the picture in her locker, a man with raven black hair reaching his shoulders, heterochromia eyes and a nice figure. Isabelle was the opposite, only having the same heterochromia eyes.
It has been a week since then, Selene refused to even leave her house, more like her room. Issac was the same, yet he held onto his phone with a picture of her. A picture just before her death.
Both had mentally become unstable from the shock, despite getting to know each other on that very day.
Isabelle's parents were heartbroken that they lost both their children in a traffic accident.
A few years later, Issac never got married but adopted a child that had heterochromia eyes. Selene was obviously not any better, she was similar to an empty shell, only listening to her father's words.
A book suddenly rose up from the underground, getting the attention of the two soulless people, becoming popular instantly. Even more so than the famous books known.
'The Birth Of Glory'
Everyone within the state looked at the preview, the main character was none other than the teen that died in a traffic accident a few years back.
Isabelle Sullivan, a 17 year old girl, being reincarnated into a new world, explaining how she died before she did.
The author? There was no name.
The words? They magically appear as the book follows along her journey.
Selene gasped as she read the preview, her eyes shaking in emotions. "Isabelle..."
Issac was speechless. Everyone was speechless as well, but held on to the book, only to read as the words went along.
