Chapter 177 - Fatigue Keirin

The handle had a dark ending, directing my power into it, I made sure that the blade had the power of chaos and my blood. It could strengthen Keirin if something happened while I was away.

I got up and moved on, I needed to make as many of these blades as possible for Keirin and maybe the girls if they were able to fight back.

The night slowly receded and my eyes gradually opened the camp under the sun's rays. The camp, as I noticed, was surrounded by a small fence, here and there were torches that were still burning.

I was wondering if all the lagers had this shape or were they decorated differently? I remembered Pelori's words that there were many mere mortals in the forest who were hiding from the baron.

Remembering the rune stone that lay in the baron's tent, I just chuckled. For some reason, I had a premonition that we would still face him.

Passing from corpse to corpse creating blades of blood, I used pills and did not notice how Keirin approached. Who looked with interest at me as I created the last blade.

- Trey, what are you doing? - The girl turned to me with interest in a quiet voice.

Turning to her, I noticed how she was standing and looking with interest from the blade to me.

By her appearance, it was noticeable that the conversation with the girls was given to her rather hard. Walking up to me and sitting next to me, she looked at the blade that shimmered in red.

Putting her head on my shoulder, she continued to look at the blade, I felt that something was bothering her.

A pleasant smell from her mixed with the smell of sweat. I saw that in addition to anxiety, she was very tired due to experiences and our trip as a whole. She held on and tried not to show her feelings, but I was not blind either.

- This is a blade like a few more, should help you while I am in the capital of the avelei. - Explaining to her the reason for the creation of these blades, I said.

Expecting her to react somehow, but to my surprise, Keirin fell asleep sitting next to me. Smiling a little, I put the blood blade away to the others for the time being. After observing the sleeping girl, I didn't want to leave her outside, carefully picking her up.

I remember one tent that was clean and there was no mention of torment. Which took place in this camp, moving through the empty camp, I thought about where to place the blades to protect this camp.

I didn't tell Keirin about my plans to find the wyvern, and it's best not to reveal my strange desires right now.

Passingthe tent, examining it again and making sure that there is nothing strange in it. I put her on the bed and covered her with animal skins, feeling an unpleasant smell from them, doubting for a long time whether it was worth covering her with them.

But looking around the tent, not finding anything else, covering her, I hoped that she would not wake up from this smell. She needed to rest, after watching her sleep, I left the tent watching the sun rise higher.

Birds in the trees began to sing songs, from the outside it might seem that I was alone in the camp. I had to wait until Keirin woke up.

Trying not to approach the central tent so as not to frighten the girls, I put out the torches and the fire.

To my regret, I did not find a larger amount of supplies either on the corpses or in the tents. It was only for a few weeks, but remembering that now only girls lived in this camp. I assumed they would last for several months if I linger in the capital of the avelei.

Listening to the birds singing and the sounds of the forest, I felt like I was relaxing. Perhaps it was an instinctive connection to my elven traits, but I felt safe here.

Unlike the academy, where there is a constant feeling that they are looking at me and judging me by my behavior and words, there was no such thing here.

Enjoying moments of pleasure, I heard slow steps in my direction. Frowning, was it possible that one of the robbers was not in the camp at the time of our attack?

But if they were robbers why didn't they try to hide their presence? Even if they were stupid, they must have known that the attackers were still there. Listening to the sound of footsteps were not numerous, one robber survived?

Footsteps sounded from the tent where Keirin left the girls. Didn't I hear how he dealt with the girls?

But why didn't I hear screams or steel strikes against something? Imaginations played out in my head about how the murder of these girls took place while I enjoyed the views and the feeling of calmness.

Preparing to repel the attacks, I had a desire to take this robber alive.

I wanted to know the exact number of how many bandits are still alive.

But to my surprise, when I was about to strike, I saw a human girl. Seeing my wary expression and in the hands of the sword in the eyes of the girl, I saw that she was frightened. Putting the sword back in storage, I tried to smile, but it looked unnatural.

Spreading her arms, showing that I was not dangerous, the girl relaxed and silence hung between us. I did not know what to say to her, but she looked at me with interest.

- You don't look like a dark elf, more like a half-elf. - Thoughtfully said the girl, continuing to look at me with interest.

Smiling at her words, I saw that it was given to her with great difficulty and I had to try to keep up a conversation with her. I saw fear flicker in her eyes because of my silence, which she could misunderstand.

- You're right, I'm a half-elf don't worry I won't hurt you what's your name? - I turned to her, pointing to the hemp with his hand, offering her to sit down.

From my voice, she visibly flinched, but when she saw that I was not trying to approach her, but suggested that she sit down, she nodded. Sitting down opposite each other, she continued to look at me with interest.

- You are strange, my name is Auel, what is your name? - Asked with concern in the voice of Auel.
