Chapter 106 - Busy day

When I was putting on my uniform, I didn't understand why there were so many bossy girls around me, maybe I was saying something wrong?

Approaching Cassandra, feeling like I was still dizzy and my hands hurt a little, sighing, I gently lifted her up and took her in my arms, I could feel her pleasant smell and her calm breathing. After looking at Keirin who was standing near the door and opening it, we left the room.

Looking around, I observed a deserted white corridor, near some walls there were chairs on which the stufons could rest or sit while waiting for someone, there were not as many rooms as I imagined at first.

Just like in the room, everything was white here, as I followed Keirin down the corridor, I could see some stufons walking back and forth and casting strange glances at us. Shifting her gaze to Keirin, asking her a question with her gaze, she just shrugged and walked on.

Approaching as I could understand the exit from the hospital department, I saw a table at which a surprised light elf was sitting, looking at how we were approaching her.

- You've already come to your senses. - The light elf spoke in surprise, carefully examining me.

Looking at Keirin, not understanding what the light elf means.

- Trey, her name is No'im and she was the one who helped you while you were unconscious. - Keirin explained seeing my uncomprehending look.

Carefully examining No'im, I was grateful to her for the help she gave me, trying to remember her face and name. I understood that this was her job, but I still wanted to thank her if the opportunity arose.

- Thank you for helping me, but while I was unconscious. - I turned to her with gratitude in my voice, smiling slightly at her.

But, watching Keirin and Trey approach her, she did not expect that he would recover so quickly and be able to move, much less carry a dark elf who, as she realized, was unconscious.

- And what about your companion, is she unconscious? - No'im asked, examining Cassandra who was lying in Trey's arms

Keirin knew why she was unconscious, but she wasn't going to talk about it, glancing at Trey, waiting for him to say something.

- She was worried about me and when she saw that everything was fine with me, she fell asleep. - Inventing a story that the light elf in front of me could believe.

But listening to his words, she could understand why Cassandra was worried, being in the hospital department for a long time, she rarely saw so many injuries in one stufon received from a training fight.

- If you want, you can leave it in your room where you came to. - No'im suggested smiling, she was pleased to see how the half-elf takes care of the dark elf.

Smiling at No'im's suggestion, I shook my head, I didn't want to leave Cassandra in the hospital ward.

- Thank you for your offer, but I'd rather take her with me. - Having thanked No'im again, I was about to leave the door when I heard No'im addressing me again.

Frowning at the fact that No'im was calling me, who saw that I had Cassandra in my arms, I couldn't help but get annoyed.

- Stufon Trey, it will be advisable for you to avoid a few days of active training, your hands have not had time to heal much yet. - No'im said, watching as my gaze stopped being kind.

Nodding to her, I followed Keirin, who left me to deal with No'im. Catching up with her, I began to look at Keirin's tense face.

- Keirin, tell me what's bothering you. - I asked her, we were partners, so we had to be open with each other.

Keirin stopped and looked at me, then looked down at Cassandra who was lying in my arms.

- Trey, do you realize that my sister might react even worse? - Keirin asked, watching my face change.

I could understand her concerns, but I did not plan to make Samantha my wife, nor did I plan to accept Cassandra as my wife.

- I understand that's why I didn't have a wedding ritual with them two months ago. - I answered, looking into Keirin's eyes.

Keirin sighed and came closer to me and stared intently into my eyes.

- Trey are we still partners? - Keirin asked.

Not understanding her question, I stared at her, not understanding why he thinks that there is no, I wanted to voice my question, but then it began to dawn on me.

- Yes, you and I are partners with Keirin, are you afraid that I will try to take advantage of your sister's momentary weakness and offer her a ritual? - I asked, annoyed that she could think that way.

Keirin shook her head that it wasn't something that bothered her.

- Trey, I'm worried that you're making them part of our journey, and we don't know what awaits us next. Do you think Cassandra will leave you alone now? - Keirin asked.

Looking at Cassandra, I could understand what she meant, we were walking along an unknown road and I didn't know where it would lead us.

- We won't involve Cassandra in our affairs, about Samantha, I won't conduct a wedding ritual with her if she doesn't want to. - I said to Keirin in a serious voice.

Keirin was hoping to hear these or similar words, but which conveyed what he had just said to her.

- Okay, Trey, but I hope you'll let me explain everything to Samantha if she decides to perform the ritual with you. - Keirin turned to me with a strange request.

Seeing that I didn't understand what she was talking about, she pointed her hand at Cassandra in my arms and at me.

- Do you realize that you've made the poor girl faint with your explanation? - Keirin asked, grinning.

I could only agree with her in such a situation, while we were walking I didn't really see any of the stufons, it was already late.

Returning to the dorm in silence, we saw Samantha sleeping in a sitting position on the couch.

Without hesitation, I first took Cassandra to my bedroom and then, under the gaze of her sister, I carried Samantha and closed the door to the room and returned to Keirin, who was standing in the kitchen waiting for me.

- Today was a busy day and not the ending I expected. - I said, grinning, sitting down on the sofa and watching Keirin pour us tea.

Keirin also grinned, she could have added to my words that for all the time they met Trey, they did not have a simple day or something always happened at the end of it.

- Did you not expect that you would find yourself in a hospital ward or that two princesses would sleep in your bedroom with one of whom you concluded a wedding ritual? - Keirin asked, coming up to me holding two mugs of tea in her hands.

Listening to Keirin, I couldn't help but laugh, she was right, I couldn't wait for the end of the day.
