Chapter 63 - Cassandra challenges Trey

- Me. - Cassandra answered in a quiet voice, blushing more and more under Trey's gaze.

- I didn't hear you Cassandra, what will you get if I lose, I understand, but what will I get if I win? - Asked again Trey, looking intently into Cassandra's eyes.

Cassandra wondered if he really didn't hear what she said. Or is he kidding? But she didn't get a chance to check, so she had to re-vouch for his prize.

- You will receive if you win the duel me Princess Cassandra. - Kassandra blurted out, burning with embarrassment and wanting to find a hole in which to jump.

- I refuse, I don't want Princess Cassandra. - Trey answered her words shaking his head.

Cassandra silently stared at Trey, she did not understand what was happening, any of the other races agreed without hesitation to her proposal.

- Why are you giving up on me? You do not like me? Cassandra asked, stammering over the last part of the sentence.

Trey looked at Cassandra and laughed, the laugh was not artificial, Cassandra and Samantha could feel it. Having calmed down, Trey looked at Cassandra and smiled.

- Princess Cassandra, it's not that I don't like you, it's that the whole dark elf kingdom will come after you and I have no desire to fight with everyone. - Answering her question, she felt Trey's words destroy something inside her.

- What if I renounce the throne? - Coming up with the last reason why he could agree, she voiced it without thinking.

- And it will be just like with Keirin, she left the kingdoms of the light elves, but the queen and the king do not want to let her go and sent her back with the help of Princess Samantha. swiping fingers from Keirin to Samantha who was still biting her lip over Trey's last question.

Cassandra was already beginning to accept defeat when Samantha unexpectedly made an offer that shocked Cassandra.

- You are right stufon Trey, if you win, then other princes and princesses will be sent for her, but if the matriarch herself witnesses your battle and you win, she can only accept that she lost to you and will not send anyone. If she sends someone it will be a blow to her image. Samantha finished explaining her idea about Cassandra and her question.

- This idea might work, but will Kassandra be able to get us to watch our duel, or, more accurately, will her daughter want to show her battle to the matriarch with me? - Asking either Cassandra or Samantha, Trey asked, looking from one girl to another.

Cassandra, listening to the dialogue, agreed with Trey's opinion, but she was afraid that the matriarch would refuse.

- Yes, I will talk to the matriarch, she will be present at our duel and if I lose, I will become yours. - Cassandra said decisively, trying to calm down, she turned her gaze to Samantha, who did not answer the question that was intended for her.

- If you found the answer for your friend, have you found the answer for yourself? Trey asked with an appraising look at Samantha.

- If you don't want to be a friend of the light elves, then you want to be their enemy. - Answered Samantha looking into Trey's cold eyes.
