Lionel sat in a rather cozy office and he didn't mind taking part in the atmosphere available, causing the students who had brought him into the office to sweat continuously. Was he really unafraid? The answer was of course no.
But he naturally only feared that nobody would understand his arrogance. Who were they exactly to waste his time like this and yet still expect him to be on his toes? Nonsense.
But the office was rather properly taken care of, Little potted plants by the windows helped soften ones emotions and the bright light and spacious environment, in contrast to those dark gloomy office really made one feel comfortable and at home.
The minutes passed by closing in on the hour mark causing Lionel to really start itching, his patience had its limit. But just when he was about to reach his breaking point the door opened and a handsome youth wit glasses walked in.
This was of course none other than William Gates.
"You really know how to take your time William." Lionel let out a light chuckle settling for a bright smile, "Please, sit."
If someone who wasn't in the know saw this scene they would think it was Lionel that had summoned William. After all he was sitting in the Office chair meant for the owner.
William saw this scene and his expression could not help but darken, his face constantly twitching. Where did this boy get the balls?
But he calmed himself looking towards Lionel before sitting at the couch environment in the office meant to receive important guests, causing Lionel to assume an amused expression. He even stood up directly moving to the couch opposite William.
"You are rather boring." Lionel said as he picked his ear with his little finger flicking whatever it had managed to grab.
'This is my office okay? Stop acting like you are the one in charge.' William let out a smile as he cursed in his mind.
"You should know the reason why I have called you to my office?"
"Yes, have you already forgotten? It's the stress I tell you, maybe you should go see a Masseur and we will reschedule this for later okay?" Though he spoke as if he was asking an opinion he had already stood up walking towards the door.
"Stop!" William spoke a formless pressure shocking Lionel into place his body unable to move, his heart beating wildly. His eyes regaining excitement.
This was the second person today that made him feel fear, was this place really overflowing with such geniuses? He really wanted to crush them.
"That makes two today." He managed to turn his head sending a smile towards William.
"Tell me what you know or it will not be as simple as you being unable to leave." William said rather forcefully. He was definitely pissed. His position was disregarded, he took it. His words were ignored, he took it.
But His pride being insulted? Never.
William bit on his nails having not moved, his eyes glowing wildly. It was a bad habit of his whenever things were spurring out of control. He just could not help his tendencies, but he forcefully repressed it.
"Wayne Morales was helping me practice something. But maybe your enemies lie closer than you think hmm William?" Lionel said with unrestrained laughter. He would remember this.
"The explosion was naturally an accident, but I would advise you to look at those superior to you." From the short time he spent with Wayne he could already tell that there was something wrong about him, though he couldn't quite put it into words.
But as for trusting the old man? Why would he do that? He dared to keep me guessing, who cared for his wellbeing? He name was Lionel Kage and he would do as he liked.
With that he left the office. Of course the explosion hadn't been anything detrimental, but he had a feeling nagging him that something was off with Wayne. He seemed like a fanatic worshipper that had lost his way.
"Direct me to the cafeteria." Lionel said to the watch on his wrist. A holographic map appeared. After looking at it for a while he had determined where he needed to go from his location. He naturally no longer had a need to stay here.
"Lionel Kage." William was left to muse as the words he had heard. Looking at the student who were shivering in the corner he said, "Keep tabs on him. You are dismissed."
The two quickly left, daring not stay longer.
"Lionel?"
"Hmm?" Lionel looked up to see Amber who was currently drinking a smoothie. Banana flavor? People really drank that? Lionel nodded his head in acknowledgement.
"Hey! Shouldn't you be in your room?" Amber sipped on her smoothie as she leaned forward in front of Lionel. Her ample bosom attracting Admirations from the men who happened to pass by.
Lionel finally let out a smile and outside of her expectation he stretched out a hand before she could react causing her to close her eyes. What was he planning to do?
"Lionel, we are too young!" But her shout was cut off by the hand that had been placed on her head, playing with her hair.
"What do you mean? What were you thinking?" Lionel acted innocent but his expression gave him away as he tried to hold back his laughter.
Lionel let out a chuckle when he saw her reaction causing the red of her face to turn a shade brighter, causing those who stopped to watch to stare daggers at him.
This bastard was too daring, they felt jealously from the depth of their souls causing Lionel to laugh even louder, he was really unrestrained.
"Why are you so nervous? Did I do something wrong." Lionel put on an innocent expression as if he was oblivious to what his actions were, causing Amber to pout.
"Haha. Alright, you can drop the act now." Amber was very embarrassed but she turned her face away, feigning anger. Why was he being like this? Didn't he know this was inappropriate?
"Thank you Amber. You've made me clearheaded." Lionel said this, his smile reappearing on his face, but not once did his hand leave her head. Finally after a while he let her go. He realized that it wasn't like him to overthink anything. He would do whatever he wanted and see who dared to stop him.
"Do feel free to come around whenever you want." With that he continued towards the cafeteria. He hadn't eaten for a long time now and was very hungry. He didn't worry much about money, that was the one thing he didn't lack.
