Hiding behind the trees, Aveline's gaze was fixed on the kingdom of Euphrasia, and she stealthily monitored the guards that patrolled the main entrance of the gate, not particularly sure why she was hiding since everyone would assume she was the real Annalise thanks to her physical appearance that she stole.
"Why haven't you gone in yet?" The ominous voice that spoke behind her startled Aveline for a second, but her startled expression was instantly switched into one of contempt after realizing the one who had the audacity to scare her in that manner was no one but Luderick.
Damn all these human emotions!
"Why are you here?" She whispered, her annoyance laced to her tone and displaying in her brown eyes as they conveyed a silent information that told Luderick she needed to be alone, but Luderick, who was starting to get tired of her constant orderings didn't make the slightest body language that indicated he wanted to leave.
