A sudden sense of fear ran through Freya's nerve like a chill on an icy wind. She turned to look at Azazel who was standing at the door and her next sense of escape was disappearing from his sight.
"Don't." He quickly warned, forcing Freya's feet to halt at where she was. The low demoness didn't need anyone to tell her she was in deep trouble. As bad as her situation was, she felt a little bit better it wasn't Roshan. She wouldn't even be standing here right now if it had to be him.
"What are you doing here?" He demanded, keeping his piercing blue gaze locked on the frightened demoness who flinched at his every word like a startled rabbit.
"Your highness I_" she tried to come up with an excuse but was silenced again.
"So brave of you to show your face at a time like this Freya, but let's leave that for now." His calm tone was nowhere near calm and it gripped Freya with fear.
