Mathias and Harley with a few of his men stomped into the building which happened to be one of the coyote abodes. The security man tried stopping them but with the look on their faces, he withdrew from them.
They reached the entrance of the house and one of his men rang the doorbell. At the third ring, the door was finally opened reviewing a little girl of about ten years and it gave them quick access since Mathias ignored her welcome greetings and pushed the door open, holding onto her as he strode in without permission.
The blaring music from the inside indicates that the people in the house weren't interested in who knocked. They:d thought maybe the little girl's neighbourhood friends had come to visit them, so they ignored the entry.
Mathias halted while some of his men earned their way past him into the sitting room. A scream was let out when the family discovered the men armed with guns were inside their house.
However, Mathias never intended to hurt anyone. All he needed was an answer to his questions. When he was certain that the families had been held, he pulled out a nose mask from the pocket of his pants. He wore it, held the little girl's hand and made his way forward to the sitting room.
A gasp escaped from the family seeing the girl with Matthias.
He sat gently on their couch, facing them. Then he began, "I'm not a bad person and I'm not here to hurt or kill you. I just need answers to my questions, okay?" He asked but the family was too scared to answer, they only nodded but Mathias wasn't okay with the nods so, he yelled at them, "Okay?!"
"Yes!" They answered with trembling voices. The family was just five in number. A lady of about forty years old who happened to be the coyote's wife with two look-alike boys about eighteen years old and two girls of three years and six years.
Mathias crossed his legs over each other and dipped his hands into his pocket, bringing out a cigarette and lighter. He lit the cigarette and the puff came out filling the sitting room. He shifted the nose mask from his mouth down to his jaw and began to smoke.
"What's your husband's real name?" He referred to the coyote's wife.
She stammered, "Da_mon"
"Damon?" He inquired with a raised furrow and she nodded her head which was bowed to the floor.
Mathias veered his face to Harley who was now standing beside him and asked, "Is Damon among the coyote names?"
"I'm not sure." She muttered and quickly went through her phone before turning to Mathias, "No Mathias."
Mathias tilted his head backwards with fury all written on his face. The family was lying to him even when he was serious. "Search the entire house and get any information you can see about that idiot!" He snorted and blew out a puff from his mouth.
It has been years and he finally found out about the coyote group, their names and identities. Although he started the investigation a year later he graduated from college but it freaked him out to see that his effort wasn't yielding any fruit. He needed to meet them and threatened them about stealing funds from the DEF company. He didn't have any evidence that shows they are involved but he was some clue away from finding it.
"I suggest we ask if they know the type of work he's doing?" Harley conveyed.
Mathias killed off his cigarette with his thumb, threw the sediments on the floor and stood up while putting back the nose mask in place. He walked closer to the family, cringing in fear and stood right in front of them. He searched through their bowed heads, checking out if they were scared of him or if they were pretending.
When he suspected nothing, he pitched his nose and bent to the head level of the coyote's wife. "You wouldn't lie to me now. Do you know about the coyote?" He questioned the lady who raised her head a little bit to meet his eyes but quickly returned it to the ground after seeing his fury eyes.
"He talked about them most times." She shuddered.
"What did he say when he talked about them?" He inquired and raised his body from her since she had given him a great answer.
"He said they were on a mission to steal funds from his former company, DEF. Please don't kill us, he didn't get his share." She begged with her hands clasped together.
Mathias turned to Harley and arched his eyebrows at her. "He wasn't given his share?" He stared widely at Harley as if she could read his thoughts.
Harley made her way past Mathais to the lady and grasped her hair solely, raising her head to face her. "What do you mean by him not getting his share? They worked this out together!" She snapped and the lady shook her head at her grip indicating Harley was wrong. Harley threw her head away, "Tell me the truth then and if you lie to me, I'll be the one to snarl your head away from your head." She threatened, staring furiously at the lady.
"I swear, I don't know but he wasn't given any share." She disclosed.
"Why?"
"I don't know_"
"Fuck you!" Harley uttered a profanity.
Just then, Mathias's guards came trotting into the sitting room. One of the men came forward to Mathias and showed him some paper. "His real name is Damon but he used Guns as his fake name." The guard uttered and Mathias took the paper from him.
When he was done scrolling through the paper, he muttered, "Guns it is." Then, he turned back to the lady, "How long has he been away from home?"
"Where did he travel to?"
"He left home and hadn't returned without telling us his whereabouts."
"Did he call?"
"Ye_yes." She stammered, plunging her hands on the skirt."With private numbers." She added.
"I know." Maths answered. He knew very well that they couldn't get in touch just like that since Guns already knew he was coming for him, he wouldn't leave any traces of his location.
Maths handed the paper to Harley who tugged it into her coat jacket. He gave the family one more glance and made his way to the door, out to where his car had been packed. Even if he didn't catch Guns at least he had something for more proof.
