"Haaa...!" Ethan let out a fierce roar as he charged straight toward Ellia. His hand tightly gripped a sharp dagger that glinted in the sunlight as he slashed it through the air, aimed directly at Ellia's chest. However, Ellia effortlessly dodged the blade, moving swiftly to the side.

'I don't like this...' Ellia raised her gaze, her eyes scanning over the faces of the raucous crowd filling the grand Colosseum. She regarded them with a mix of disdain and disappointment, for they saw only the spectacle of bloodshed, oblivious to the harsh realities of war. These were not mere gladiators to be gawked at and cheered on but warriors trained to fight and die for the greater good of their nation. 'The Empress doesn't look like she's the one to disrespect soldiers.'

"It wasn't the Empress," Ruth spoke. "It was all the nobles that voted for this."
