Bernard is in the woods, and he is in the woods. He is really bothered about the fact that Kalista has gone back to her pack. As much as he tries to ignore it, he is actually hoping that Kiara does not tell Kalista what had transpired between them.
He decides to go into the Lily White Pack and see what is going on. He must make sure that Kiara does not talk.
Even if it means shutting her up forever.
Bernard is glad that he can now sneak more freely into woods. This is because Gray has appointed a new Beta, and he can now go anywhere he wants without the responsibility of being the Beta of the Pack hanging on his shoulder.
As he walks towards the Lily White Pack, he wonders what is actually going on. From a very far distance, he can see that the border is covered with tight security. Bernard remembers clearly that the last time he was here, the security around the pack was not as tight.
