"The Black Fur pack has the best military base in the entire wereforest." Kiara states. "I am sure they will be able to handle this." She concludes.
"I hope so. But what baffles me the most is how Alpha Gray made the huge mistake of choosing a blood-sucking demon as his Beta." Juliana says.
"According to what Kalista told me, they are actually childhood friends." Kiara says.
"So, you are saying that it is possible for the Alpha to be oblivious to the fact that his best friend is a vampire? Doesn't it sound off to you?" Juliana asks.
"Yes, you are right. Something fishy is going on." Kiara says. "We must find out exactly what happened." She adds.
"To be honest, I do not think that that is our priority for now." Juliana says. "You should call the silver guy." She tells Kiara.
"You are right." Kiara says and dials the number.
