ANONYMOUS PERSON'S POV
Kiara is silent for a moment. Then it dawns on her that Bernard most definitely has a very strong reason for wanting to run away with Kalista.
"Did he tell you why he wanted the two of you to leave?" She asks.
"He said something like the vampires attacking us." Kalista says.
Kiara's eyes widen. "Bam! He knows this because he is one of them. Now, I do not really understand what is going on, but I can assure you of one thing, Kalista…" She begins, but Kalista interrupts.
"War is coming."
Kalista says this with a lot of conviction, conviction that tells Kiara that Kalista knows exactly what she is saying.
"I do not like the sound of that, Kalista." Kiara says. "I have never experienced war, but no one needs to tell me that it is a very terrible thing to experience." She adds.
