ALPHA KALISTA DRACONIS' POV
For a moment there, I just stand as I watch her walk away. Honestly, a huge part of me wants to tell Alpha Gray Dexter about the treatment that has been meted out to me by Natalie and her mother, but I know that this would only cause more trouble, and to be honest, I am protective of my peace.
With this in mind, I decide not to tell Alpha Gray Dexter that I have been turned into a maid, and all of that shit.
"Who's there?" A voice answers after I knock on the door. Immediately, I feel Belle jump, and I know that it is Bernard.
"It's me." I whisper softly and the door opens.
Bernard winks at me and then quickly blows me a kiss before stepping aside for me to enter Gray's room.
I try to hide the look of displeasure on my face.
"Bernard, could you please excuse us?" Alpha Gray says as soon as he sees me.
"Of course." Bernard says and walks out of the room, but not before winking at me again.
