ALPHA KALISTA DRACONIS' POV
I would never do that to my best friend.
I walk out of the room, saddened beyond what I can explain, but I tell myself that I have to be strong.
I ask Kiara to call a meeting between me and the Board, as I want to inform them of my marriage to Alpha Gray Dexter, which I have decided is coming up in two days. I do not want to waste any more time as lives are at stake.
"You want to tell them about the wedding?" Kiara asks me and I nod in the affirmative.
"The wedding is in two days; I do not have time. The two of us have a lot to do, so I need to let the Board know in time. I reply her.
"Very well, Kalista." Kiara says and I smile.
The meeting with the Board commences and I tell them point blank that I am getting married to Alpha Gray Dexter of the Black Fur Pack. I almost laugh as I see the looks of shock on their faces.
"But….but why?" One of the elders asks me.
"I have my reasons." I tell them simply.
