Xavier took the lifeless body of Anne in his arms, while the other three gentlemen just walked beside him without making any sound. Heirim was also in tears, as all of them, Bernard and Brom were silent for the whole journey back into the alchemia tower. Fewer words were exchanged, while the four gentlemen remained quiet and animated, they only followed everyone from behind, they weren't crying anymore as their tears dried up on their faces.
"Are you sure there will be no hoard anymore?" Asked Brom to Bernard, while he kept eyeing on the mourners in the back.
"Yes, don't worry, when the host died, they perished, you saw what happened with all of the monsters inside the Shadasawat castle, right?" Bernard took a moment to see his brother, and then he added, "Although the destruction that they inflicted will not disappear though."
