The quirky and mysterious man, who was already working at the library before Anne arrived. The man named Bernard was gloomy and quiet but at least tolerable on some occasions. Now, he was standing in front of her, with a smile and a confident expression on his face.
"Bernard? What are you doing here?! I mean… You… How…"
He raised his finger to his lips and asked her to be quiet. "I need to make sure she can't hear us. Wait for a moment."
Anne's eyes never waive away from the man who she considered a work friend, while Bernard, put his hand on the door and a purple light emanated from his body when he turned, his eyes were glowing, he was casting a spell on the door, or possibly on the whole room.
