"He said… He said that Darla may end up getting killed if they persist to be together."
The way Anne stuttered her words, gave an indication of how distraught she was. Vale was listening to Anne the whole time, he then tried to put this problem into another perspective.
"Anne, I don't think that he meant it like he is the one who killed Darla." He tried to calm her down, as both Darla and Brom are important people to her.
She took a sigh and put her head on Vale's shoulder. "Justice and Xavier have gone to close the dark portal, and Henry went into the palace, I am here worried sick about them, I was expecting some good news, not about their breaking up."
Vale kissed her forehead and put her into his arm. "Don't worry, they will be fine, now, how about we go back to help the rescuers?"
