Vale's face was tense. Anne goes to him and holds his hand. "This is not happening, right?" Asked the primary captain of the Magi to the chief.
The chief gave him a bittered smile. "I'm afraid that's the truth. So sorry."
Anne took her time by Vale's side, even though he was leaving the town so long ago, but his friends and the memory of his grandfather were in Gendry town. She whispered to him, trying to calm him down. Justice, on the other hand, asked the chief about what happened to Gendry town.
"The hoard, it multiplied suddenly… and the whole town never prepared for the anomaly." Her face says it all, the horror still fresh on her mind. "I was in the town that day, survived because I was hiding with the town citizens."
"So, there were people who survived?" Asked Xavier to her.
