Later as the sun set over the cosy town, Denvile, painting the sky in myriads of pinks and oranges, and the wind brought the coolness of night, sweeping through the golden grass, two silhouettes went side by side through the overgrown football field to the left of the school.
Alia and Aiden walked hand in hand, the orange rays bathing them in it's soft glow.
"I should not have left you there that night, Alia then maybe nothing would have..."
she tugged his hand cutting him short.
"Yeah... but I'm never letting you go this time". At this, she smiled up at him admiring his bright eyes, how much they reminded her of someone else, far off in another land.
"Tell me, what really happened that night?"
She was startled by this question but she hid it with a brighter smile
"It's funny, there was a cankey and dragons oh! And a lion boy and it may sound like a fairytale but it happened all the same..."
The End.
