Scorpio and Cancer, like the other Zodiacs , weren't always Zodiacs. In fact, they were just normal humans with problems.
Scorpio was, believe it or not, an orphan. And Cancer, who was to be her....I mean...one of her best friends, had problems making friends. Not really, he just didn't feel like it.
The two met one fateful day when Cancer's mum, Mrs. Grace donated stuff to the orphanage. She sent Cancer off to play with the other kids while she talked to her friend who was also the orphanage manager.Cancer, who was not in a playful mood went under the table.
He had expected to be alone when he heard a voice behind him, "Hey! This is my spot. You better find somewhere else to hide before we're both caught". A girl about his age said "I'm sorry. I didn't know anyone would be here. What are you doing here anyway?"
I think I should be asking you that question but I'm playing hide and seek like everyone else. What are you doing?"
"I'm supposed to be playing with someone but I don't really feel like it. Besides I don't have anyone to play with," he answered.
"Well, you can play hide and seek if you want. I'll be happy to play with you."
"You mean it?"
"Of course. I'll be happy to play with you... um... I didn't really get your name."
"I'm Cancer."
"Nice to meet you Cancer. I'm Scorpio," Scorpio said.
"As in like a Scorpion?"
"Hey, you're called Cancer. You have no right to jugde me".
"I'd prefer to play."
So since that day the two became best friends."
