Chapter 1 - Moonlight hits his shadow

It was during the festival in Bhutan where people celebrate Tshechu( Mask Dance) a boy saw a young and a blonde lady wallking towards the Dzong, wearing a kishuthara which was hand woven. She looked so pretty in that dress that the kira( cloth) matched with her facial appearance and her flexible body. The boy was overwhelmed by her look and wanted to approach her but due to his cowardness he wasnt able to talk with her. He thought he would never see her again as he did not know how to talk with a girl si, he walked towards his home( which wasnt actually his home) it was his step mothers home as his father was a drunkard and always came home lately so, due to his condition his blood mother left him and his father dragged him to stay with him. His step mother was not very good to him, she always shouted at him for silly reasons. Even though he would clean the house, wash the clothes, and do the household chores. She would never be impressed of him instead she always find a reason to drive him away from her house. One day while he was about to leave to the school he heard a cry and went to look for it, it was coming from his stepmothers room. He went to look for it and found out that it was his stepmother crying on the bed. His drunkard father had beaten her up so badly that she filed a case against them and sadly they had to leave her house. He was so sad and had trouble thinking where they would stay, in addition to that his father thrashed and yelled at him saying he was of no use to him and told him to leave him. He had no idea what was going on that time, sadly he left him and went towards his real mothers house but sadly his stepfather chased him away. He wandered around the town, it was 9:00 pm where the moonlight hit his shadow like a light erasing his liveliness, he had no home to live and he was hungry too. Finally, he didnt had the power to move any further so he slept on a wooden bench outside, it was a cold and an unforgettable night. He survived that night as to open his eyes he saw the same girl which he saw on the festival. She was smling towards him and he was nervous about her looking at him like this. She talked to him and she said " dont you have a home" that question made him sad and he cried a lot where she understood what he was going through. She took me at her home and after reaching her home it was lovely, her house was like a heaven she made me a breakfast and i ate it like it i had never eaten before she took great care of him. He could never get this care from his parennts but her. It was really a paradise but it was only for some time as her father and mother didnt like him staying at their house and shouted at him to leave their home. Unfortunately, he had to leave as he was a begger now, while he was leaving she came by and told him not to worry as she will come to meet him and help him. This words of her made him happy and had a warm and a positive feeling inside him. So, he left having a faith in her and wandered around hoping that she would come to see him. As night fall and cold wind blew through his soul he didnt give up his hope for her coming to meet him. He is still hoping that she would come as he is waiting for her in a thin breeze never to die as a soul.
