Rudy tried his best to reason with the knights and their generals. But it didn't look like words were going to be enough.
Although it wouldn't be too hard for the hero's party to deal with a bunch of no-name knights, they were trying their best to keep things civil since that's what Ale wanted.

"This guy.. he keeps shouting and calling us bastards and whatnot... Do we really have to put up with this?"
Ron was at his limit, and the others weren't feeling too good either. They knew that they wouldn't be treated with respect from the very begining, since they were mercenaries and not knights.
