Chapter 22 - Energy Blocking

Han Zhong's hand was tightly gripped by Yixu, and for some reason, even with only one grip, he felt that his body was so light. The wind rushed noisily in front of his face. He passed the tops of trees and forests. Han Zhong still couldn't understand why his body suddenly felt stiff and couldn't move. He knew that since earlier, Yixu must have put a spell on him.

"I think it's the right time for me to take you to my dream date."

Yixu lowered her gaze, looking at Han Zhong hanging and flying with her.

"Put me down."

"Oh, sorry, but I'm freezing all of your energy until we get to the Folix Hole. That's your goal, right?"

Han Zhong had never told this to anyone except for Naya and—Penya. Suddenly, Han Zhong realized something. And Yixu seemed to be able to read that. Naya can't tell Yixu, that means it's definitely Penya. Jing Lung was right, he shouldn't trust someone like that easily.

"Don't trust elves. They are vile. They look nice, but see, Naya can be so dangerous."

Han Zhong tried to free his hand from Yixu's slender fingers, but he couldn't. His entire flow of energy and strength was paralyzed. Damn it, muttered Han Zhong. Can he survive the Folix Hole?

Han Zhong instantly felt that he would die in a few hours. He don't know what Yixu will do—and who will order him, but one thing is certain, if he gets his energy back, he will fight all of this.

And if he had to accept that he was dragged into the Folix Hole without knowing how to get out, at least he had to try various methods. In his small heart, Han Zhong hoped that there would still be a chance for him to get out of that hole.

Folix Hole, the place where all the black-robed ghouls lived and where all the guards and minions of the Abysses were.

Not long after the flight—Yixu flew slightly higher, climbing a high cliff near the edge of the Bluelit forest. They passed through a deep and wide forest fence. From the top of the cliff here, the trees seem to rule the ground. He don't know if Finux saw him being kidnapped by Yixu, but they should have been flying in the opposite direction from where Finux had stopped.

When Yixu put him down, Han Zhong's hands felt sore and heavy. He slumped to the ground and planted his buttocks on the uneven ground. While Yixu threw her long skirt back, she walked over.

"Do you know why I became one of the Half Orbs?"

Han Zhong snorted lazily and he stood up. He still couldn't feel any energy around his body. "Should I listen to it?"

Yixu laughed. She drew closer to Han Zhong. Her green eyes glowed in the middle of the night.

"Don't you want to guess?"

If Han Zhong's energy had not been blocked by Yixu's spell, perhaps he could have read all of it behind those beautiful green orbs. But all was in vain. And Yixu was happy because Han Zhong knew he was being toyed with.

"If you're going to kidnap me, at least let go of my friends. And never come to the human village again." Han Zhong said. Making Yixu smile a little. From her physique, Yixu looks stocky and bulky. In contrast to Naya's thin and slender physique. Yixu looked like a grown strong woman.

"Aren't you the one who wanted to come to this Folix Hole?"

"Aren't you afraid I'll steal your crystal?"

Yixu turned around, she stared at Han Zhong for two seconds. "Shouldn't you be scared? Naya didn't lie. I want to kill you. I'm sorry if your fate has to end here."

The woman turned and was about to walk into a clearing where only arid trees grew. Above the cliff, there was nothing but cracked earth and trees with branches without leaves. Makes the darkness of the night and the bluish light of the night so bright.

The wind blew softly, carrying Yixu's skirt blowing for a moment.

"Just kill me. After all, it won't affect anything," Han Zhong replied. He believed that if the Abysses wanted to kill him now, it would all be in vain. Because the current Han Zhong—who had been hailed by various peoples and nations since childhood as the successor of His Highness Trixon, still—until now, Han Zhong had not completed his Inner Celestial studies to the end. Fourteen level.

So, if he was going to be killed right now, it would all have no effect.

But the question is, did Han Zhong want to be killed just like that?

Yixu replied with a small, disdainful smile. "Who says you don't affect anything?"

Han Zhong was silent for a moment. He looked at Yixu standing under the moonlight and found that Yixu's energy could be enormous. His fingertips began to feel numb with energy. What if the magical energy doesn't come back?

"Ah, it turns out you haven't read the Book of Darkness, huh?" Yixu laughed lightly again. "No wonder you were able to walk out of the Dragon Palace carelessly like this."

What? What's wrong with the contents of the book? Han Zhong had indeed not had the chance to read it. But that doesn't mean Yixu knows the contents of the book first, right? If anyone knows, it's only Grandfather Trixon or… the leader of the Abyss. Dark Lord.

"Even if I haven't read it, then what are you trying to say, huh? No one can open that scroll without the pure power of a Dragon—or the purest lineage of a God."

"That's true," Yixu said with a smile, "but the rumor we've been receiving from the Darkness Lord is—whoever is the strongest person in the Eaven blood, then we have to kill them. Well, if you don't want to give up the baby and still let her live like any other normal human—even though you know she's the most powerful descendant of the Abyss—then I can let her wake up and no one like you—can wake her up one day later.

"Let the Folixes, who will call her later, destroy the village, then we just have to use that girl to destroy the palace. Destroy you." Yixu's eyes flashed. Her threatening tone felt like a razor slitting his throat. That's natural because all Abyss always has its charm.

"Don't you think you're too strong?" Yi Xu asked.

No, before Han Zhong could touch the Inner Celestial, he muttered in his heart. But he just looked away and studied the uneven edge of the cliff overgrown with weeds. Yixu seemed to smile faintly.

"Well, you sure are strong. But poorly, your fate will only be completed when we invite you into the Folix Hole. Come on," said Yixu, slightly teasing and mocking at the same time. Yixu could be satisfied treating him this way because Han Zhong lost both the dragon spear and his strength.

But if he got it back, would he be able to escape Folix Hole? If that happened, would Han Zhong's strength be able to bring him to the brink of salvation?
