"Isn't this the room you set up my memorial?" Ashley asked in a fit of confusion.
Cole told her he wanted to show her a surprise but he led her over here.
"Not anymore", he said as he slowly grabbed the door handles.
He pushed it open and in it were frames as usual, but this time, not a memorial setting but, a gallery setting. Instead of rest in peace, "Our journey together" was boldly written.
Ashley felt warmth and happiness tingling in her, just going through their memories together was a reminder of the good old times they had. From when they were just kids till now, time seemed to have gone by really quickly.
Cole analyzed her emotions and the smile on her lips, it was what he had wanted to see for a very long time. She had escaped from the jaws of death multiple times and deserved to be treated specially, like a queen.
Subconsciously, her smile turned into a worried frown. At once, he noticed it and began to wonder why.
