it's been a few years and I'm now 6 years old officially. I haven't seen my father once within those years. All my mother and I get are Letters and gifts every now and then. My hair is the only feature I got from my father I think. The color of my hair is half black and white and yes I did get my mother's emerald green eyes.
"Hey mom can I go play outside " I ask my mom hoping she will say yes.
"sure sweaty but don't go to far okay and be safe" She says with a warm smile.
I quickly rush out the door ready to try to make friends. I walked for what felt like a while were I see some kids throwing rocks at a young boy. I can't stand it I yell "Hey leave him alone you jerks." they look at me in surprise as I had stood up for the boy.
" Why should we he's just ugly and stupid" they say.
"so leave him alone" I say angry I hate bullys.
"what are you gonna do about it" they say questioning me and challenging me. I don't say anything but run and punch one of the kids knocking him back. He starts crying and gets up and runs along with the other kids. I turn to the boy and say "are you okay"?.
"Yeah but just in pain" mystery boy says
As he says that I knoticed he had black hair and blue eyes but with werid marks on his face.
"what is your name " I ask curiously because I honestly don't remember this character in demon slayer which I watched once.
"my name his gyutaro what is yours" he says suspiciously.
"intresting name mine is Saeko" I say smiling hiding the fact i know him because I remember which character he is!!.
"Nice name" gyutaro says
before we continue talking I hear a girl yell "Oni chan are you okay" she says as she runs up to gyutaro. She had white hair and blue eyes she was a really pretty girl.
"I'm fine Ume I was just talking to Saeko" he says with a small smile.
"Who even is she your secret lover"? Use says with a questioning look.
"No she's just a new person I met" Gyutaro says with no emotion.
"I'm so hurt here I thought we were friends" I say over dramatically as a joke.
Ume laughs and "ok were friends I guess " Gyutaro says.
"I'm glad" I say smiling.
So after that fateful encounter I learned I live in the red light district. It was a place were how pretty you are decides all. I became pretty good friends with gyutaro are Ume they were fun fo hang out with. I also secretly practiced the sword my father gave me in one of his letters and gifts for the month. I am pretty good with a sword surprisingly. I am now 10 years old while Ume and Gyutaro are 13. I'm scared that I won't be able to save them from there Fate. The problem is that they won't tell me there jobs no matter how much I ask they say it's better if I don't know. I mean its not my fault I can't remember what jobs they had but only when they were turned into demons. It's now evening and I'm looking for Ume. She said we would hang out today but I can't find her. I see a fire being lit I start running as fast as I can no...no..no I say in my mind. I was correct it was Ume being burned I cried and shouted her name. "Ume" I say as I'm running to the fire.
She looks at me as she's screaming and burning.
"I'll save you I promise" I say shouting running for water but realizing there's none near. I decided to run towards the fire. But I get held back by a guy with Ume's hair pin.
"No let me go" I shout
"This bitch took out my eye" says angrily
I struggle and cry hearing Ume's screams. Suddenly I blacked out thinking only one thing I have to save her. I wake up in the street I look around a see Ume's body burnt and barely alive. I see Gyutaro and tell him Im sorry I tried.
